These are so comfortable!! I’m 5’2” and 150, ordered the medium. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the orange under shorts ride up during my workout. I have not run in them yet so I can’t comment on running. But they are really cute and fit great!

I (5'4"x120#) usually wear a size small, and these fit me correctly; however, the tights have the problem that most tights under shorts (and skirts) do--they aren't tight enough! Wearing these to simply walk around is fine. The tights stay put. But for running or any other fast movement, the tights ride up so that they end up above the largest part of the thigh (at least my thigh) and so are useless for running (sigh). The ruching along the side/back is very flattering. I absolutely love the look! In fact, these would be perfect if the tights were a little bit thicker and a little bit tighter so that they stayed down (and didn't ride up) while running.
In summary, if your legs have a completely straight profile, and/or you plan to wear these for walking and/or hiking, you will likely love these shorts that have really cute ruching along the front and side; however, if your legs flare at the top and/or you plan to wear them to run, you might want to choose a different design.

I really love the Due East Apparel Women's Activewear Running Short because it fits great and looks fantastic. I love bright orange inner leggings, inside compartment for keys and side mesh detail. You can't really see much of the orange through the mesh because the outer fabric doesn't lay close, I've been referring to it as mesh, it's not. It's really a perforated stripe design. A nice detail. It even has 2 small reflective strips sewn in the rear side panel seams. I wish they were bigger, but I am not really running at night so it's fine. They run true to size. I received a size small and usually wear a size 2 - 4 in jeans. These are my new favorite running shorts!

I like these shorts a lot! I don't think I've ever worn orange before but I love the little pop of it as an under layer. These are comfortable and fit well, and are cute. I wore them jogging and they worked well for that. I've received several items from this brand and they usually run a little small, and the quality is middle of the road - not awesome, but not cheap either.
