Solid, comfortable and well-priced, but with minor issues

Firstly, I like the swiveling motion that adapts to foot position and pressure but I wish there was an option to lock it in a position or at least increase the tension required for it to move.

Secondly, the two bars that form the base of the footrest has a rubber cover (floor protector) that goes over it. The cover, however, keeps coming off with use. I wish it was glued on or at least designed with grooves to keep it in place.

Otherwise, it's solid, comfortable (barefoot or with footwear), and well-priced.

The build quality is good, it doesn't slide easily and it rotates. That being said, as far as I can tell there is no way to lock the position in place and so you can't apply much pressure before it rotates. I'd consider getting a heavier footrest that can be locked into place. Also the massage element of the footrest is a bit of a meme but I suppose that is the case for most of these footrests.

I’m giving three stars as you can’t adjust the height AND while you can tilt the footrest so it can be adjusted easily, it doesn’t lock in place. I suppose I can stretch my hamstrings while I sit but it’s distracting.

Otherwise it’s well built, a fair price and fast delivery.

It does not move around under the desk and is easy to adjust.

One of the plastic covers on a foot slips off which is annoying but does not effect the product.

I chose this (more expensive than many) footrest as it is made of metal and therefore should offer greater longevity compared to plastic ones and also therefore heavier, so it should slide less on the hard floor underneath my desk. Early impressions are good, comfortable with shoes or bare feet, there are no squeaks when moving the footrest angle with my feet; however it does slide a little, possibly because the shiny plastic moulded push on floor protectors on the base are a fairly loose fit and slide off. I reckon some plastic to metal good adhesive will fix that. It does need those protectors in place otherwise the metal tubing that's then exposed could scratch or wear floor coverings. Early days, but looking a worthwhile purchase.

Good Grip on Hard, Even Shiny Floors

Good grip on hard floors, even shiny ones, but I found I could'nt use it because every time I rested my feet on it in the inclined position it pushed my chair on casters away from the desk, which became quite annoying (but any inclined footrest would do the same).... A real shame because otherwise it's a very well made product and very sturdy, being made of metal, and at a good price point.

I've given it all the stars because it deserves them... Just my little annoyance is not the fault of the product.

What, at root, is a footrest? Through the ages, philosophers have contemplated this question. In essence, it is a rest upon which one places one's feet. For these purposes, the "Eureka" is perfectly acceptable. I use it in conjunction with an office chair in my home office. It tilts forward or backward and has nodules that project out from the surface to provide grip.

Does it deserve its Archimedean branding? Perhaps not. Does it serve its purpose adequately? It does.

However when I got a decent gaming chair my feet didn't touch the floor properly and kept getting bad circulation so I purchased this and it's perfect now I can game for a bit longer and use the rocking motion to help with circulation in my feet. It's well made and sturdy and comfortable even in just socks. I'm super happy I bought this and would again if I needed another.
