I've been using this device for a few weeks now, and am overall pretty satisfied with it. It's great for quickly mincing some celery for a tuna salad, or an onion for a casserole. It handles a decent amount of food at a time, though be careful of over-filling it. If you need to dice a lot of food at once a food processor would probably be more useful, but if you just need to chop up one or two things quickly this is a low-effort way to do that.

I was skeptical at first but it works and it works efficiently too! Only needed about 10 pulls to chop up a small bowl of garlic or onions and it doesn't need electricity to run. A real time-saver. Only question I have is - the instructions say to clean the lid, I should wipe it with a damp cloth. Does this mean I should not wash it under the running tap? Will it be a problem if water gets into the area that houses the string?
