Pretty but poor fit for old recliner

We have 3 dogs who love to "share" our furniture. My old light tan lazyboy rocker recliner was suffering in looks. We just moved into an old fixer upper and I wanted my furniture to look " fixed up" as well. They really improve the look of my old lazyboy and our other used (from the habitat restore) swivel rocker recliner. The taupe color seems accurate, not TOO light, definitely not too dark.
The ONLY trouble I have with it is that the inside back corners of the arm covers do not tuck in well, as shown in my pictures. I wish those had straps as well. Both my chairs have flat metal along the insides of the arms and I can't find a good place to "hook"it onto. I had the same problem with the green one I'd ordered, but these covers had the most, and best reviews so I went with it anyway. I'll just get some safety pins or something and see if I can pin it way back between the back and the back of the arms.
Update: I, like an idiot, ordered more of these in navy. I thought maybe a new set might fit a little different,( like jeans sometimes do, in the exact same size and fit). Nope...same problem. I LOVE the navy, the softness and the stretch, but unfortunately, it doesn't stretch quite right around the recliner and fits really poorly on the inside part of the arms.
These are very old chairs, which may be why the dit us so poor, but also is why I wanted covers.
One reviewer gave a link for upholstery pins, which I'm gonna try. Hopefully that'll help.

Honestly my opinion of slip covers was not great as I’ve seen some pretty ill fitting ones over the years. But when my relatively new low end “leather” recliner started peeling I knew I needed to do something, so I decided to give these a try after reading reviews. I ordered the taupe color and it matched the online pic. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. It was super easy to install and fit perfectly. Looks amazing! Cannot attest to longevity as of yet, but will update review if I encounter any issues. Great product for anyone looking to change decor or extend the life of an existing piece of furniture.

Loved the cover for my recliner. I have two of them in different colors (light grey and taupe) so i can switch off.. Fits perfectly, even the cutout for the recliner arm! Its very snug giving the appearance of a recliner without a cover. I love the side pocket to hold remotes, handcream, pad and pen.
I had a navy color but it showed too much lint.

Pet damage - bought more time before replacing

Our massive puppy destroyed our recliner couches but we don’t want to replace yet. No other covers have fit well or stayed on. We followed comments from other buyers and bought 5 recliner pieces, one for each section. They fit well, recliners work well. They stay on when dog jumps on and gallops across. Very pleased. Took a couple tries to get color right. “Sand” has a definite yellow undertone, not as much brown as we wanted. Did not work. Taupe is more of a gray, very little (if any) brown undertones but nice and we kept it. True to picture in advertisement. The sofa and loveseat covers are also nice, fit well, measurements listed are correct. Not great for recliner sofas. Since we had to change color, we tried the individual recliner pieces instead. More money (5 pieces instead of 2), but excellent results. Posted before picture of back and after with recliner covers on

My cat had ruined the original cover of my chair. I had put a removable cover on and it never stayed tucked in, never looked decent. That's why I am so pleased with this Easy Going Recliner Stretch Soft Slipcover. It fits perfectly, it stays in place, it looks good. I am extremely happy with this product. I did think the instructions may have been wrong. The instructions said the label on the seat/leg rest portion went in the front but the elastic straps (same side as the label) obviously needed to go in the back. Those are important because they keep everything tucked in.
Overall I am very happy with this product.

I love the look of this and the feel. I am ordering another for another chair. The directions are not very detailed and although it says "easy to install" it takes a bit of brain power to figure it out since the directions don't really tell you but we figured it out quickly and it wasn't hard. It was easiest to take the back off the recliner to do it. Definitely recommend!

Great Product! As long as you follow install instructions, it is easy to install and fits like a glove. This is our standard poodle's 1965 recliner he has had his whole life. He still uses the chair just as much as before; so, there must not be anything odd enough to not like. I was about to get rid of the chair due to looks, however, now it has been refurbished and OK off in a corner.

These are actually great quality covers, but they didn't fit my recliners or reclining sofa. The back section wasn't shaped right or big enough. If they'll fit your couch and or recliner go for it. Wish they would've fit mine properly. I have what I'd call "regular sized" lazyboy furniture.

It fits great and does not look like a slipcover, when my husband came home he asked what I did with his camo chair! Haha! The directions were easy and it took me less than 10 minutes to put on. I wish I would have ordered a different color though. I ordered the taupe and don't think it looks totally accurate compared to the stock photo. I'll take it over the old camo pattern though!

This is my third purchase. I covered three reclines that were still mechanically sound but the fabric was looking shabby. Two were the same color and slightly different in size but because of the great stretch to the fabric, they both fit great. They are so soft as well. I like the pocket on the side as well, great for storing the remotes.
