The style of the skort is more 'A'-line than I like and it is longer than shown on the picture. It is however very comfortable, fits well, and the shorts do not ride up. For the cost of the item I believe it is a good buy. I am 5'1" tall and weigh 119 pounds. I think that on a taller person the length would be great. I ordered a medium because I do not like anything tight around my waist. it is not too big and is not restricting. I do like it for comfort but wish it was shorter
Pretty, but just okay quality. I've bought several skorts from same maker/store, but returned only this one. I gave this a 3-star rating based on: Pros: 1. I particularly like the color and skirt pattern/design. 2. Fits as expected Cons: 1. The waistband elastic is very thin. Compared to others that I have purchased (I've purchased at least 5 other skorts), this one is the worst quality. When I was trying it one, I heard a thread break on the waistband. I'm a solid size 6 and purchased a Medium skort. My hips are on the slim side, so if it seems like a thread snapped/broke, then this wasn't made right in addition to the very thin elastic. 2. Lack of any pockets... most of the others that I've purchased have some sort of pocket (phone, MP3, etc. ) that would make this skirt more useful if it had one. Not understanding why you would make a skort that is intended for athletic use, but have no pockets.
I bought several of these skirts to wear while playing golf. The prints they come in are really attractive. I loved the material the skirt is made of. However, the undershorts are not a wicking fabric - they are not cooling and do not dry quickly. After 9 holes of golf today, they were soaking wet, which doesn’t typically happen when I wear skorts by other brands. Also, the waist sits much higher than what I’m used to and the elastic in the waistband is very narrow. If these had been the slightest bit tight, I think that high, narrow waistband would have been very uncomfortable.
When I put them in the laundry basket this evening, I checked the tag. It says “Wash separately. Dry clean recommended.” I have no intention of dry cleaning a $25 skort that I bought as athletic wear. Hopefully they will hold up to a few washings.
This is very cute and fits well. My problem is that it arrived with multiple creases (not pleats) all over the skirt. I have tried cold water delicate/handwashing and hanging dry, washing a 2nd time and drying flat while attempting to smooth out creases and ironing on low with steam. Nothing works! This is the white pleated skort in a small.
I love these, they are flattering, comfortable and have great stretch. However, I'm frustrated by sizing. I have 2 that I bought over a year ago, they are both XXL (I'm a 12/14) they are a bit big/loose on me, and one thing I love is that they have a phone pocket stitched into the inner shorts, however, the weight of the phone can pull them down as they are loose. I love that the inner shorts are longer than most other brands and do not ride up when exercising/on the go. Fall 2021, I bought 2 additional skorts in size XL, to my disappointment, neither pair includes a phone pocket, and each of the XLs fit differently, with the charcoal grey fitting a bit looser than the black. While the black is a bit snugger, it remains comfortable, however, I will not place this one in the dryer for fear of shrinkage. All 3 of the others go into the dryer without worry, but the black is just snug enough I fear any shrinkage would render it too tight. I will buy more, but sizing is inconsistent and can be frustrating to find fit, as well as different features between different colors.
I purchased two of these, one white and one slate. It fit as expected per the recommended sizing. The material was of heavier quality in the slate color than the white one. The material was very thin. Even with the built-in shorts, the material was still way too thin and showed my underwear. I tried it with both nude and white underwear, but they still showed through the two layers. I returned it but kept the slate color one. I would recommend this product, but not in white.
I like the cut of this skirt, I ordered the White in a Medium. I am 5'2" 135 lbs, athletic (muscular thighs and not much of a waist). The A-Line cut of the skirt was surprisingly nice, usually I lean towards one with a tad more flow in the fabric. The fabric is thin, but in White it seemed adequate to cover the shorts, fit was a bit too generous. But I doubt a small would have been better. What made me return this is at 61 I've a few area's of excess that caused the skirt to accentuate the bumpiness. I work out alot and at my age I still have a tummy, love handles, and a small amount of saddle bags. This skirt did not hide that fact. I've purchased another brands with flirty pleated backside where the material, although thicker, acts a bit like shapewear and that did not reveal my body imperfections. Too bad as this skirt comes in a great array of colors and the other does not.
I bought the green with white shorts. When you lift the score to put something in your pocket, you can see through the white shorts. Would be better if the shorts came in another color. The way the pocket is positioned, Underwear is visible through the shorts, Unless you remember to wear skin toned undies. Otherwise the fit and length was as expected.
There are a lot of things I like about this skort. It's comfy, it washes well, it doesn't wrinkle, it has a pocket... but it's so weird to me that they decided to make the shorts underneath bright white. On a navy skort, if the shorts peek out at all when sitting or exercising, it's like a giant beacon alerting others that your shorts are sneaking out. If it was the same navy fabric, it would just blend in. I'm keeping this because it's comfy, but it just seems like a really odd design decision.
I’m 5’4” and 135. Bought a medium and it’s a bit loose. The fabric doesn’t seem to have spandex; it’s not form fitting stretchy, but more polyester feeling. I’ve been tugging at the shorts underneath because they don’t stay put. If you want loose and roomy, they’re fine, but I like more of an athletic fitting compression short when I’m walking or jogging
