If you like your heroes with muscles on their muscles then you’re going to love Galactic Kings! Earth women, Poppy and Mal crash landed on a planet on the other side of the galaxy after a wormhole experiment went wrong. We’ve already had Mal’s and Rhain’s story and this is Poppy’s and Borodin. One noticeable thing about this story is that we actually meet the arch villain, Zavir, who is the ambitious father of Rhain, Brodin and Gray. Since the next story is that of Annora and Thadd, it is very intriguing to wonder about Gray? Where will another Earth woman be found for him?
I love the way these stories are in the same universe as Galactic Gladiators. If you haven’t yet done so I recommend that you read that series asap!

Poppy is recouperating from her experimental conversion to a shapesihifter that leave her enhanced but not a wolf. She is something the haven't seen, but need, in hundreds of centuries. With her hyper brain and hyper body and hyper wolf whisperer skills she puzzles out alien technology, fights the bad guys and captures the heart of the Emperor. An evil warlord is meant to add drama but she feels like a comic book bad guy, trading threats, pulling out poison and tech and evil laughing. Ok read but did not grip me.

Another winner for Anna Hackett. I loved the characters Brodin and Poppy. Full on action, evil 🦹‍♀️ sinister characters who need to be defeated, you won’t put this one down til you’re finished. But, like the first book, it’s missing something that I just can’t put my finger on 🤷‍♀️. But this could just be me 😂

Poppy was sent to Damari for healing after being infected with Damari virus that’s native to the planet after crash landing on Zhalto and then taken by a warlord before being tortured…only to fall for Brodin the Damari Emperor..
This book was a great read and was hard to put down and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

The second book in the Galactic Kings series follows Poppy and Brodin’s journey following the previous book. Poppy is sent to Brodin world to recover and heal from being infected from a deadly virus that turns people into Wolf shifters. Brodin is the Emperor of the planet in this the one to help poppy as promised by her friend Mal.

This book is a fantasy sci-fi romance all mixed into one! I found it really enjoyable and helped me from the get go. I loved all the different characters and the set up for the next book, as well as the plot structure, and the narrative arc of some of the characters. I particularly enjoyed Poppy’s heroines journey and how she becomes not just this mere weak scientific nerd but becomes a powerful entity within herself. I particularly loved her and Brodin‘s love story, and how that grows and develops. It’s not like it instant love but there is a deep connection at the same time, and it’s awesome. I love this book and cannot wait for the next one!

Slightly obvious in some parts but a great read. Always been Para Rom girl but thoroughly enjoying the Sci-fi roms. I came across the Galactic Gladiators in Kindle unlimited and thought I would give it a whirl and wow now hooked. There is enough action and drama to have you on the edge of your seat. I love all the characters. I have learned with Anna's writing there is good and evil and no inbetween. When Bodin did what he did when he was under the influence (no spoilers here) I jumped up in shock and horror. Looking forward to the next episode in May.
