Product Description

Create a comfortable and more ergonomic workspace with new Adjustable Heavy Duty Footrest (STAND-FT01) from VIVO. This footrest is designed for workers who sit or stand all day with little ergonomic support. The steel black, low-profile unit, takes up minimal space and provides substantial benefits. Elevating feet and legs while sitting reduces physical stress and can support better posture. If you start to feel exhaustion in your legs and feet after standing or sitting for a long time, simply prop a foot up on the stand to alleviate some of that tension.

There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
But there were a couple of issues:
1) The top felt surface was not fully adhered to the metal - about a third had come away (seemingly the end of the felt roll, as it was rolling back up on itself
2) The rubber feed have also come away from the base, from adjusting on the carpet (low pile).
3) the Base feet should be a little wider than the top, to provide additional stability
4) The top could be a little wider - another 20cm would be good, as it's not as wide as many foot stools
5) Not quite high enough - two more levels of height would be great

I was worried about the width when I purchased it, but there's plenty of space there, and I'd be hard pressed to spread my feet far enough apart that I'd want more.
For those of us who *aren't* using it as intended (second picture) it leaves some things to be desired:
- If you're one to fidget a lot with your feed, it will clack and clang a bit. The adjustable legs sit relatively snugly in their holes, but shifting your weight from side to side you'll notice some wiggle room that might have been subdued by coating everything in a bit of rubber.
- If you've got bad habits (like me) and like to put your heels up rather than plant your feet in an erganomic way, this might not be the product for you. The carpetting is enough to make it cozy and warm on the sole of your feet, but the firmness is hard on the heel and sides of your feet. You'd want to drop a cusion or spare folded blanket on top if you're planning to use it this way.
- If you're one to constantly be pushing your foot rest around under your desk to move it out of the way or into position, the relatively well-designed base isn't your friend in this case, since it doesn't really leave you with a bar you can shove around or hook your toes on. With enough practice though, you can do this using the floating stand itself without pulling it off its pins.
All in all, I think it's exactly what it is meant to be, and I just had the wrong idea about what I wanted to rest my feet on.

I have zero complaints about it. It takes about 15 seconds to setup, can have its height adjusted very quickly, it has little rubber nubbins to help keep it in place. It has a material surface that helps to prevent foot slippage.
Honestly it's a simple product, it was a bit expensive, but given how much its helped me with my posture and overall comfort while working at my office, I honestly think it's worth it.

My only complaints are:
1) over priced for what it is
2) I don't like the downward slant on it and wish it was just flat. I either end up rolling backward in my chair if I put my feet on it. If I move it closer to me so I don't roll backward, my heels are lower than my toes and it's not ergonomic or comfortable.
