I guess I should have asked the question, but the bottom of this looks like there's no chance I'd escape scratches on my counter. So I just bought myself a lovely paperweight? It looks nice/solid/sturdy and is heavy, but I can't use it as a soap dish unless I want to ruin my bathroom counter (spoiler alert: I don't).
Although this soap dish is inexpensive, it looks very, very cheap--almost like it is plastic or ceramic. Because it was so inexpensive we did not return it, but we won't be using it either. There are other marble soap dishes on Amazon's site that cost more but look 1,000% better.
I was surprised by the cheap and poorly done assembly. It looks like a middle school shop project that got a B-. It's study enough and does its job, but if you're hoping for something classy or well assembled, this ain't it.
The item pictured is not the item being sold and shipped. The item you will receive is flat, circular, and about a centimeter tall, with a lip. You will then be responsible for returning it despite there being no fault on your part.
It looks nothing like the picture shown. Its a very cheap looking soap dish. Nothing luxurious about it at all. It’s very upsetting that Amazon would allow this seller to continue misleading customers. Shame on you Amazon. Hold your sellers responsible for their wrongdoings. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed.
Absolutely is NOT what is pictured above. Sort of disappointed by that but I don’t feel like returning it & doing the whole return process. Literally is a circle with a ridge all the way around doesn’t look like a soap dish whatsoever but it’ll serve it’s purpose.
