Top reviews from other countries
The book opens with an introduction to the country including the key highlights in 'Reasons To Love New Zealand', and what there is to do and see at different times of the year. There are then a variety of sections under 'New Zealand Your Way' which cover various aspects of the country, and what the country has to offer depending on your interests; including walkers, thrill seekers, wildlife, Maori heritage, on screen, foodies, sports and many more.
The bulk of the book focuses on different regions of the country, with lots of information and maps about each, including what to see, where to stay and where to eat and drink. The whole book is beautifully illustrated with photographs, walking tour guides and maps and plans of the key places to visit
Finally the book gives information on essential information including how tom travel around the country by train, self drive, ferries and buses
This really is the perfect guide book; big enough to have all the information you might need to inspire and plan your visit, small and light enough to take with you on your travels.
It is also a wonderful little book for people, like me, who will never actually get to the country but want to find out about all the places to see and the fascinating history and culture of those places, all written in concise but interesting detail.
A superb book, whether you're planning a trip to NZ or daydreaming of it.
