Cute dress, weird armpit situation

Got this hoping it would be a cute, easy dress to bring on vacation. The bottom half of this dress is great. It's a good length, and I like the tied fringe detail. The fabric is polyester w/ spandex, but it feels like a soft cotton t-shirt - very nice. The top half though.... fits very oddly, particularly at the armpits. The way it's sewn, it doesn't sit flat against my side the way I'd expect, but rather sticks out, making a weird point/lump. Maybe if you have a larger chest, it would sit better, but it's enough of a problem for me that it needs to be sent back. (for reference, 5'8", 125, 32C, ordered a small)

It had too much material at the tops of the shoulders so it seemed to bunch up, but then was too tight across the back of the shoulders and restricted movement. I loved the look of it, it just wasn’t cut correctly to fit appropriately. I couldn’t wear it for fear I’d rip it by moving. :/

I liked this dress a lot, but the only issue I had was the top half being too big. I don’t have very broad shoulders or a big bust, so it was definitely too lose. I didn’t wear a bra with the dress, just nipple stickers, and if I bent over you could see my whole boob lol.

If it would have had one more button a little lower it would have fit me perfectly. I’m 140 pounds, with an athletic lower half build, and I got a medium. Fit my waist and covered my butt though.

Beware big arms or bust

I had high hopes for this but have to return it due to the upper arms. While it’s not too sheer, the body is massive and the cut doesn’t work for someone with a large chest. I intentionally ordered up because I have bigger arms and was planning to tuck it in with a belt, but they were so tight on the upper half it’s not even worth it. I’m also 5’4, so it was on the longer side and just wasn’t flattering. I bet it would be really cute on a different body type!
