This package contains one procision rotary bypass trimmer with a paper guard, a rotary bypass blade carriage, measurements in metric/inch measurements, an expanded grid by 2-1/2 inches, rubberized feet, a paper guard lock, a permanent grid and a folding deck for easier storage. Measures approximately 14-1/2x19- 1/2x4 inches when folded out to full length. Do not carry from cutting bar (will bend over time). Imported.

Perfect for DIY projects, additional innovations include a rotary bypass blade that stays sharp and never needs to be replaced, as well as a built-in smudge guard. The trimmer also features grid line measurements on both the top and bottom of the smudge guard, allowing you to move the 14” extended base deck to your left or right. Ordered this for my Christmas present, it is a solid investment, it cuts paper thin shreds, precisely and can measure 12 inches (30cm). It has cut through chipboard, several layers of paper and folds for storage. It takes up some real estate in a studio, well worth the space though. Perfect for cutting chipboard, and I used it for cutting 5 pieces of cardstock at a time. Huge time saver.
Cons:
When cutting only one layer of cardstock it tends to leave a jaggered edge.

When this finally arrived, I felt that the item wasn't new, but had been used because it had scuff marks on the rails as if the cutter had been pushed along it several times, and some of the orange rubber parts were marked too.
As a cutter, it's okay, but there's one problem. When you pull the cutter from left to right, you get a nice clean cut, but if you do it from right to left, the cut is really rough, which shows on the edges of the paper. No good for me as a quiller.
Because of that, I don't think this is worth the cost.

This is a wonderful trimmer. I have problems with arthritis in my hands and arms which makes cutting difficult at times. I have tried test cutting lots of different papers and card including chipboard and it cuts through everything so easily. My best purchase in a long time.

This trimmer is expensive, but I have to admit worth every penny. At last I can cut straight! I don't need to spend on new blades, as it is a 'bypass' trimmer and sharpens itself. So already made a saving on a not having to replace a blunt blade. Easy to use, clear measurements, and can be used without having the extension fully out. Sturdy and clean looking.
