this is so comfortable .... I do not know I am wearing a bra .... I am normally a B cup and am wide around my ribs .. have always had problems with getting the right size bra because of this .. most bras with my cup size are made with a smaller rib size .... I do not need a lot of support and I did order a size larger ... but not sure I need it larger.. I have not washed it yet ... so I will see how it holds up
Due to a medical condition I have to wear this type of bra all the time. But oh how I miss my shaped cups. Clothes don't fit right. So ... here's what to do. 1. Cut the shaped cups out of an old bra (or buy one at thrift store); the thicker the padding, the better. 2. The cups of these sleep bras are double thickness fabric. On the inside, pull up just one layer of fabric. 3. Make a vertical slit about 1.5" from the side seam. 4. Insert shaped cups, and take a couple of stitches top and bottom of cup to hold it in place during laundering. 5. Over-stitch the slit if you wish. The fabric doesn't fray. Happy now. :-) PS. Took off one star because the quality of the material isn't great. It's showing some deterioration after just four months, and I have four bras.
I have FMS and thus have issues with bras causing me pain from the rubbing, etc. I bought one of these on a whim about 6 months ago from Walmart, and I expected to not like it. That is now my favorite bra to wear which lead me to buy more. One is certainly not enough for the bra you want to wear most days. Granted, it does not have much support for the woman who has larger breasts (me), so I will wear a bralette over it and between the two, they keep me lifted and comfortable. That's very hard to achieve when you have chronic pain and large breasts. I hope this review helps some of you who may be on the fence.
I was looking for the least restricting bra (and cotton, due to allergy) and this has worked out well. I have arthritis so the front closure was a bonus. Only downside is when you are hooking it up, the lower hooks come loose as you hook the upper ones, necessitating going back and doing so over again.
