I’m a 30-32G. There are very few front-closing sports bras in my size. I found this product and was pretty confident, based on the photo, it would be inadequate as a sports bra, but wanted to give it a try. I bought two. I wasn’t sure which size to try, as I need a small band size, but a larger bust size. So, I went with a 34. As suspected, the cup area is not big enough, so there is a lot of spillover. Plus, the material is quite soft and fairly stretchy, which reduces it’s ability to support.
So, while it is in no way a true sports bra, it is still quite comfy to wear around the house, and for low-impact daily activities. The front-closure makes it extremely easy to put on and take off. For the price, it is a very good value, for this use. First wash (gentle cycle, hang dry) was uneventful, and both colours came away looking perfect.
The dark grey one has a scratchy bit of seaming at the bottom of the closure, which irritates my skin. The other one does not have this issue.
I would like to add since that review that the front closure on one of the bras refuses to stay shut. Yes, it both undoes while I’m wearing it and as I try to apply the clasps to put it on. The other bra seems fine so far.
Fit: I ordered using my measurement SEATED rather than standing (3 inch difference in my case.). Band and straps fit very comfortably (I have low bustline.)
Support: I don't need much support since I have rather solid (post cancer reconstructed) breasts. Sufficient to eliminate jiggle and wobble but this is not a "Sport" bra.
Fabric and stitching: the fabric is breathable, smoothe, soft and no raw seams against the skin. However, they did use the welt stitching that women's garments are cursed with, and there is a scratchy spot at the bottom of the closure.
Selfdressing: It is very easy to put on (like a jacket) but the 7 hook & eye closure seems excessive. Requires good dexterity.
cup coverage: Has a high neckline. No "fallout" when I bend over, (might just be me, see above). There is no choice of cup size, so it would might not fit A, B or cone shaped breasts well. probably doesn't cover nipples well (can't tell, NMP).
