I’ve been searching for “home bras” for what seems like forever. Being disabled (severe back arthritis) I’m at home most of the time and sitting a lot. I find that my “good bras” just feel way too uncomfortable when I’m sitting around even though they fit beautifully otherwise. I’m 58; I honestly just wanted something loose and soft to hold the girls without discomfort… I’m SO done with having underwires digging into my ribs! I’m an 85F (36DDD) but I ordered a 40 in these because I knew I’d be miserable if they were even a bit tight. I bought the black w/ white dot, coral, & white pack. I’m very impressed! They’re so comfy and soft I barely notice they’re on. They are wide through the sides and back as well, so bulging isn’t an issue if you have a bit of meat on the old bones! They are 2 layered, with a soft cotton inner lining, just enough to cover the girls with some modesty. They’re cotton so a tiny bit of shrinkage is normal but as I wash and dry my clothes at moderate temps, they still stretch back to the right size & it’s not really an issue for me. If you’re larger chested, these are cute but know that since they don’t have cups, ‘uniboob’ is the standard look, but not really in a bad way. They hold the girls in place, the colours are pretty, they provide modesty AND feel soft and light, I mean really, what more can you ask for? if you prefer some structure when you’re sleeping these would work as well, They are just that comfortable. I’m sold!
The fit is hard to explain its tight for a while then fits too loose. They feel cheap like they're made for teens Fit a bit better after it shrank a little in the dryer but NOT for working out, kept slipping off when I was doing yardwork. Good for lounging around on days you don't feel like wearing a bra But in my personal opinion I wouldn't buy these ever again especially at full price
In the end, these are kind of like thick half-tank tops. They don't have any specific protection for nips poking out, which is all I want. I'm a 38A and the 40 does fit alright, but they sort of feel like they're really big, and they come kinda low down on my ribs. They could be used with nipple pasties for that kind of protection, but it feels sort of redundant in a way.
These bras are cotton, they will shrink and on hot summer walks you will want to rep them off iafter a mid-Misouri 90+ morning walk n the parking lot. (Suggest, maybe ... not!). However, I am cheap as all get out when it comes to tolerating undergarment summer discomfort and I bought a pack and darn it, I will wear each one until Winter Comes and then choose an Icebreaker or similar for autumn/winter walks.
I wouldn’t consider these sports bras- I am smaller chested and wear them to the gym if I’m not doing anything too bouncy I wear these on the daily they are so comfy but I can’t speak to how supportive for bigger chests
These are great. All cotton. No underwires. No clasps. Just bras that are comfortable to wear all day around the house. I don't wear them as sport bras. I love how soft they are. A tad loose but that just makes them more comfy. I won't put them in a dryer but rather air dry. The elastic lasts much longer that way.
