Although this is not a mastectomy bra, it is one of the most comfortable post-op bras I have. The deep side panels are perfect for holding in my "overhang", and my "knitted knocker" is held securely exactly where I want/need it. I can wear this bra all day with no discomfort, and its high cotton content makes it ideal in warmer weather. Perfect. I'll be sending for at least one other in different colours.
I sized up one size as per many reviews. Usually a 36B, bought a 38 so I could put it in the wash and dryer with no worries. Fit is good after washing, with having some shape unlike many sports bras. The sewing thread in the bottom hem bothered me (have very sensitive skin) so I wear it inside out and just put it on / off over my head. Huge difference in comfort! Why don't they just make them with the hems on the outside? I found the flap that covers the hooks (so they are not touching your skin) is not wide enough either. It just barely covers the hooks so the bottom one was a little irritating after awhile. Really needs to be a wider flap. But with wearing it inside out thats no longer a problem. Its white on the inside, and the bra info is printed on the fabric in black so it's not "perfect" wearing it inside out but I am more concerned about comfort on a hot summer day than "looks". Easy to throw in the washer and dryer! Can't beat the price either. Update: bought a grey one in size 40 and its total comfort!
First off, the band around this is horrible! It is itchy and scratchy and just plain hurts! The stitching is rough and it feels like they've used wire thread! This bra also fits very large. Way too much 'room'. But, to be totally honest, I didn't even bother closing all the clasps because the feel of the material and the stitching had me quickly removing it. It feels like there is cardboard (not sure what it is) alongside the clasps as it is very stiff. Hard to believe Fruit of the Loom would design something like this and use such horrible material. Not at all impressed. Sorry, but that's the truth.
4.0 out of 5 starsComfy, except for closure finishing at bottom. Not a sports bra.

Dark grey colour; 34
I am a 30-32 G, and there are few front-closing sports bras in my size. Based on the image (of the dark grey on the model), I was pretty confident this would be inadequate as a sports bra, much less stretch enough for a G cup. I bought a 34, knowing it might be a bit too loose around the ribs, but might have more room in the bust.
Unsurprisingly, there is a lot of spillover.
That said, it is very soft, stretchy, and comfortable. For wearing around the house, gardening, and other low-impact activities, it is good. It would not be suitable for high-impact activities or, due to poor bust coverage, for wearing as a top or even under a see-through or fitted top.
The front-closing aspect makes it a breeze to put on. It has never come unclasped while wearing, or even in the laundry.
There is a scratchy bit of material at the bottom of the closure, which is a minor irritation. (I have one in another colour, and it does not have this.)
Has been washed several times so far, in the normal, dark cycle and in the dryer on ‘low’, and is still in great shape.
When the other colour went on sale, I bought several of those. Even though I prefer this colour, I did not re-buy the dark grey, solely because of that scratchy finishing, for worry any new ones might also have that issue. I think I read that others have also had that problem, but not sure if it’s anomalous, or common for the dark grey version.
