I bought these for throw pillows on my bed, but they actually ended up as the home for (the pieces of) my tattered, disintegrating baby blankie (take off the white wig and stop judging). It’s actually perfect for that purpose from a functional standpoint, but it’s so soft (even the zipper isn’t stiff) that it’s perfect for cuddling too. Given my use, though, I can probably speak to it’s durability more than people who use it as a normal pillow cover. And let me tell you, these pillow cases hold up unbelievably well!! I sleep with this thing every night, twisting it and jostling it this way and that. I wash it once a month (I have 2) in a load with all my other sheets. Given ALL that, it still looks like it does the day that I got it! I was half expecting to ruin it the first time I threw it in the regular cycle with my sheets, but I am continually shocked by how well it holds up to such un-careful watching. The only thing is that it vaguely sheds some kind of shimmery fiber(?) on the other things it gets washed with. I don’t know how to explain it. It’s like an extremely fine fuzz. Not a big deal though.
These pillow covers have exceeded my expectations a dozen times over!

Couldn't be more happy. I had shimmery silver pillows I found at a local store, and was trying to find gold to match. These are perfect, and look really elegant. I got the 20x20 shams, and filled them with a 22x22 filler.
