So I got this for my small desk and having a full length mechanical keyboard got in the way of... well everything basically. The compact design really sells it for me because now I have all this space to swing my mouse around for the first time in a good few years. As with any new gear it takes a little adjusting but after a couple of hours it felt very natural and I had a lot of confidence in my aim on the games I was used to, which is a positive sign for me.
The keyboard is mechanical and feels good, you can pull the keys up and see some TTC Mechanical Blue key switches underneath. It's wireless but doesn't feel like it has much input delay to the point where my keypresses feel pretty much instantanious, and I couldn't feel the difference between my old wired keyboard.
At the top is a USB port for the mouse to plug into but I chose to plug it directly into my computer and it feels very reliable. The mouse itself has preset DPI in intervals of 500, and adjusting from 1700 dpi to 1500 wasn't very bad when I had all that room to play with.
Over all I think this is a neat little package that I can't wait to try it on a console once I get the chance.
