Fine if you don’t want matching mats!

Super disappointed!!! Initially I ordered 3 mats in gray. One for each sink and a smaller one for the toilet. Like other reviewers, they came in 3 different shades of gray (mats on left side of pic). I wanted the top left color, darker gray.

So then I thought maybe it was mislabeled and what I wanted might now be called smoke blue. Nope, that’s different (but at least they matched...see the mats on the right in pic).

I tried to work with Jason in Genteele customer service and he said they’d send me the darker gray mats that I wanted at no charge, but they never came though after several emails back and forth. Infuriating!!

So...the best advice I can give is don’t buy this product if you need gray. Cause you have no idea what shade is going to come, and customer service dropped the ball.

I received one these rugs as a Christmas gift. It was oh so soft, picked up any water as you left the shower, and hemmed at the edges. This was in addition to having some non slip dots, that help some to reduce slipping .Lets face it all small rugs can and often do slip. I liked it so much we bought one for the second bathroom; and now we have purchased the largest one for the bedside. A nice warm, soft start to your day when the floor is cold.

This is a different carpet for the bathroom. So far everyone likes it alot. Its softness and quality are just so different and nice ... part of the process is it just takes time to stop with the 'wow' and really evaluate it. It is that good.

We have not washed it yet but, fact is, most of the washings of other carpets came in response to wearing them down (flat) so they looked like they need to be changed. This carpet does not wear down - at all so far. But let's give it more time.

I suspect we are getting more. We like it!!

It does not immediately absorb water but by a little time it does. So far this is okay.

The only other issue is that it is thick. So some baths where my aging parent walks, or where a walker is used, may present a tripping hazard. But that can also happen with any carpet. We are in process of discussing this based on experience.

I was conflicted in giving this mat a rating. I was looking for a mat that didn’t skid
as I was recovering from a back injury. This meets that requirement with five stars!
However, I have continued to be very disappointed in its absorbency. When I step
on it after a shower, there is a ‘film’ of wet that covers it as I dry off. This has been a
consistent plight every time I use it. I haven’t returned it because the non-skid quality
works so well.

I ordered a gray bath mat, and it looks nothing like the picture. It is more of a dark blue. I am very disappointed. I would have chosen a different color if I knew it was not going to look at all like the picture. For reference my gray robe is hanging in the background.

We returned the mat for a different color (beige). This one matches its photos and functions excellently. We are very happy in the end.

Received this folded in half, then in thirds. So, I have six squares that show up on the mat and so far it doesn't seem the memory foam is going to fill in. The areas where it was folded are flat to the floor, so I am thinking the foam was torn inside. It has only been about 12 hours since receiving, so I am hopeful it will fill in after some time. The mat should have been rolled, not folded when packaged.

I'm using this as a mat in front of the bathroom sink. I can't speak to the ability of this drying out when wet and other factors when using it as a bath mat. It is comfortable to stand on while standing next to the sink. Much better than standing on the cold tile.
I do wish they had a better method of shipping it though. It comes folded up into a square and it has creases when laid flat for the first time. It does appear that the creases will eventually fade away though.
The foam is very soft and squishy. Good purchase.

Very absorbent and dries quickly

The best kind of memory foam bathmat has a porous, non-slip backing, as does this one. It works perfectly for me. Because my contractor installed my shower area improperly, it drains out instead of in. This bathmat absorbs the excess water and dries quickly. The color is a bit darker than I imagined, but it will do. The earlier mat I purchased from a different company had a non-porous rubberized backing, which didn't work nearly as well or dry as quickly.

Durable, but slippy and non-absorbent

I've had this for a couple of years now, and it has stood up well to washing (delicate, air dry). BUT it doesn't absorb water well, and it slips around on the tile. I use it near our sink now instead of the bath, and it's perfect for that. I would keep looking for something else next to the bath. Very grateful for the durability though!

Loving this mat a month after I purchased it. It's a nice size for my small bathroom and easy to clean (I've spilled everything on it from lotion to coffee, and all the liquid comes off after a firm swipe of a paper towel). Super comfortable to step on and nonslip, which is important for klutzes like me.

Update: Had this for a couple months longer, and I will say that while it still looks good, it has lost some of its original springiness. Hoping for a little longer wear on this, to be honest. Though this is my first memory foam product so I'm not sure if this is normal.
