I purchased this mat in the gray shade years ago and really loved how perfectly sized it was for the space as well as how soft, absorbent, and easily cleaned it was. After some time and stains from mud tracked in from workers, I decided to pick up a couple new ones, this time in black. Imagine my shock when I placed it down and the bathroom door no longer went across the top of it without coming to a stop. The black colorway actually seems to be twice as tall as the gray one was. I can't show a direct comparison since I've already thrown out the destroyed gray one but keep in mind you might need to watch the clearance of the bottom of a door if it's going to be behind it. We are just keeping it in front of our sink until we need to use it in front of the tub but I could imagine if you don't have the space for that, it could be incredibly frustrating.
Wonderful looking memory foam bath mat. We actually purchased this to fit in front of our kitchen sink to help when we're washing dishes. It looked beautifully brand new and unfortunately after a year it's tired looking as one might imagine and sadly doesn't clean up easily or pretty. The memory foam is still there but definitely squished down. Great at first but doesn't last long.
I use these rugs as floor mats for my car. We get a fair amount of snow and rain where I live. The rain can mean mud. Snowy weather brings with it the ice melt that sticks to footwear and also makes a mess. These rugs absorb the excess moisture and look good again after being vacuumed. Every year and a half or so I buy my car a new set of these rugs. My car's original floor mats still look new. I was glad to see them on Amazon as the color I need for my car is no longer available at the store.
This is my second rug, and I love how soft they are. It's in the downstairs bathroom where no one showers, so I'm not sure about its absorbancy. However, the first one was a victim of diarrhea due to a parasite, so after I washed it in hot water to get rid of the parasite, it didn't look great (you are not supposed to wash these in hot water) and then it got nailed again, so I tossed it and replaced it. Love these!
They are fairly durable and very soft/comfy. As with all memory foam it loses its memory after a while and after washing for a bit the tacky grips on the bottom lose their tackiness. Id say they will last about a year depending on use and how frequently you wash them. I would buy again and am on my second set. Happy with them overall.
I've had this for a few weeks. I bought it to replace one I purchased from target. I wanted to love it. It's very soft & easy to clean but it doesn't absorb water very well. I stand on it when I get out of the shower & while doing my hair and make up & its super cold on my feet because the water just stands on it. It is not fast drying. I would not recommend this product.
It is a bath mat that works like fine for the most part but no matter what I do it does not take long for it to look dingy and gross. The texture on the mat does not help as it leaves marks all over it which makes it look beat up. I definitely regret this purchase and wish I stayed with the short-shag style bath mat I returned for this one.
I just had these mats a little less than a week. They are super comfy on the feet and have a nice clean line in our bathrooms. I have not cleaned them yet to know how they clean and it takes a bit of time for water to absorb in them so if you shower after someone, the mat may still feel a bit wet. I still really like them and will likely order them again.
