It takes forever to dry. You feel like you're standing in a pool of water. It slips and does not stick to the ground. Almost slipped several times. Dangerous! I'd rather stand on a cold tile floor than use this ever again. The only thing I liked about it, was that it looked nice, better than in the picture.

I’m hoping and praying! Today we redid our entire bathroom, but kept the brown/turquoise (tealish) color scheme. We have decorative towels, etc. I just had to upgrade the rugs/shower liner/curtain, we removed the old corner cabinet that we had for 30 years. I love chocolate brown rugs and always have. This is absolutely gorgeous! It’s so plush. I kicked my shoes off and they sunk into the foam. I hope it stays plush. I got the 22x36 for aside the tub and the toilet mat. I really love the rich coloring. FYI, I had this rug for a week. When you first receive, it’s folded 3 times for this size. Just invert the folds, let sit for a few days. The folds were gone when we laid it down today. We received the toilet mat today, it’s folded in half and both sides tucked in. I unfolded. I had just finished mopping the floor, still semi damp, I dropped the Matt and stepped my foot around, the folds disappeared.

This is my second Genteele Memory Foam Bath Mat that I use for entry doors. I have a mat outside each door, but the Genteele Memory Foam Bath Mat is great inside doorways to pull fine dirt from the soles of shoes. It helps keep the house cleaner. So far I have not washed these mats so I cannot comment on how they will survive a washing machine. I use a commercial vacuum to clean them, and so far that is enough.

I love the size and the color. It is not very absorbable . I see puddles of water on the pad when we stand on it getting out of the shower. I have not washed it yet so I’m not sure if it will keep its shape. Overall I’m happy with this purchase.

Our son has a severe seizure disorder and this bath mat has proven to be wonderful for him in multiple ways. It not only fits the entire floor of the shower perfectly, it keeps him from slipping, and when he does have a seizure in the shower it allows his nurse to lower him to the floor and the mat provides a softer support for him.
