To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Jan-19-21 Disclaimer: I have been an Amazon customer since 2010 and a prime member since 2015. Within the past 3- months I have had 79 orders. I write reviews on pretty much everything I buy from Amazon. I have never received offers from any seller to alter my opinion of any item, product, or service that I had or have received. I write 100% honest reviews that are the results of my experiences.
A bit of needed background. I am very muscular and weigh197 pounds, stand 5 feet tall, and 65 years old. I had increased back and shoulder pain due to DDD boobs so I had a (7- pound) breast reduction that put me into a C- cup. The doc did not remove the underarm boob fat, so I have to wear a D cup. Unfortunately, I also have the S curve scoliosis, one shorter leg, and a Kyphotic/humped neck. Due to all of this my posture needs all of the help it can get. I wear a heavy duty corset for a short waist by Shaprex (Amazon) which is a life-saver regarding my mid and lower back pain. I need help with the upper back as in a decent posture bra. Now let's have a chat about this bra. I returned due to the light-weight/flimsy materials and puckering unlined cups and rolling band. Woman Within is charging me return postage and will deduct it from my refund. Say what? This is not Okay. Take away a star. The material will stretch out of shape within a very short time. I wore it for only one day and it began losing shape. The material almost provides zero back support. The cups are unlined and they pucker like crazy. Breasts come in many shapes and sizes. This puckering could be fixed if the cups were lightly lined. No side support for those of us with under the arm boob fat. Take away a second star. The price for what you get? Take away the third star. Over all the design of this bra is decent. The straps are very nice, but the issues that I have with this bra are about the materials that were used to construct it. If it had been made with heavy-duty materials as a real posture bra is made from, I would be ordering many more. But for $33 and having it lose its shape after one wearing (10 hours). ah nope. Woman Within must be a new company as they included had a women's clothing catalog and one for their men's clothing line.
