I read the reviews and decided to buy for my 36D self. I really like the sports bra. One reason it holds so well is that it has wide adjustable shoulder straps and three sets up triple eye and hook closures. Once you determine the tightness you prefer, you'll have a triple set of eye and hook closures to offer support. I did not find that it rolled up or scratched anywhere. The material is a little stiff at first but has softened with washing. It's very durable material. What I will say is that the center/across chest webbing you see in the picture that extends across the breast bone may show if you are wearing a polo type shirts with button down. This may or may not matter to you. I thought of cutting it out but I can see that it serves the function of keeping the breasts together and the shoulder straps from moving off the shoulder positioning.
It's made of 70% polyester / 25% nylon / and 5% spandex so I have to agree with some other reviews that it's not as breathable. However, breathable often equates to thin lightweight material that probably would NOT offer the support that this bra offers. The weight of this bra is 3.0 ounces (for a 36D) and my other spandex/nylon bras made by companies like Champion, Nike, and Under Armor are 4 ounces so it's light weight for all it's doing for our tata's. Given other reviews, it simply may be a bra better suited for those with larger breasts.
I don’t think I have a particularly large head, in fact it’s fairly average. This bra did not even fit over my head. No lie! I don’t know how it was called a large, it seemed like it was for a little child. Perhaps I got a defective one. But I would be cautious before buying. I was very disappointed being that I needed it for a trip I was taking.
This is NOT a good sports bra. Words cannot describe how much I regret purchasing this. The encapsulation reminds me of my grandmothers bras, and make your boobs like like cones. If it offered any support, I could work with it, but sadly, it does not. The material is also so uncomfortable. Steer clear. I thought I found an alternative for the Panache, but sadly, there is no comparison.
I'm a 36D and vigorous exercise can be quite painful. It's very difficult to find a sports bra that fits well. I was thrilled with this one. I can't say it's perfect - but it holds everything in place while exercising, the straps don't dig into my shoulders and I don't have a huge cleavage showing. That's what I was looking for so I'm happy to find this one - especially at this price. The reason it isn't perfect is the lower band can ride up a bit and it chafes a little. I think that will get better after washing.
Update from April to August 2013: I'm changing my rating from 5 to 4 stars. It is a very good sports bra but the lower band still rides up and chafes a bit after many washes. The thing is for less than $20 the support is really great. If this is a bra you want to wear all day, then I wouldn't recommend it. But for a workout, it's great.
After reading the reviews, I decided to take a chance on this "No Bounce Full Support" bra because I needed some new ones for running. Well, I was SUPER disappointed. First, it didn't really look anything like what it did online. The material is flimsier, and doesn't look like it would hold up well at all. I'm a avid runner (I usually run anywhere from 3-5 miles about 3/4 times a week). It fit as expected, but if I were to try and run in this, I would probably end up with two black eyes. Definitely NOT for large chested women who want to run and definitely NOT NO BOUNCE. Maybe for yoga, or gardening, or light exercise, sure. But NOT for running. I ended up sending it back and going with my "go-to" bra, basically ANYTHING Champion makes in the High/Maximum support category.
I have a large chest and I was looking for a bra that would actually support me while running. So many companies market sports bras for bigger chests that offer virtually no support. This is not that bra. This bra fits snugly and there's no room for crazy bounce. I feel secure and I can work out like a badass, 10 out of 10 recommend.
