Comfort and support

I have struggled to find a comfy sports bra as they often give me backache. I also needed a post-surgical bra, so I ended up buying this one in a larger band size for all day comfort. It has been absolutely brilliant, better than my panache or my shock absorber. Have just purchased a second one.

What Size Is This Bra?

All in all, there are both plusses and minuses here. The bra has really "sturdy" construction, and seems like a quality garment for the price. It will definitely provide full coverage for busty ladies like myself. The high neck and mesh panel make it great for wearing without a t-shirt covering it, if you're so inclined. It's definitely supportive and keeps you al tucked in. I'm returning it because of the sizing. I ordered a 36F (which is my size), but it doesn't fit. The band is really tight, but the cups are too large. Not only are they too large, they have a seam down the front and center of the cup. It creates a kind of vertical, v-shape pucker, or a cone-bra effect. It might have been less noticeable if the cups were really full, but the extra fabric accentuated the problem. It's not available here in a 38 DDD/E, or I would consider just trying a different size.

I have been looking for a comfortable bra for a while. I’m 5’7, 140 lbs, 36F. I’m thin with large breasts, so it’s difficult to hold them up. It affects my posture. I have fibrocystic breasts, so aside from having the cysts removed there’s nothing I can do about it. I have literally been through all types of bras, shapewear, anything that would help. Nothing really worked or fit right. This bra is amazing! The size fits perfectly. I know this is a sports bra, but I’m going to buy more and this is definitely going to be my everyday bra.

This bra doesn't have the internal support features of Glamorise's other sports bras that are wirefree. The bra that has the double front with a criss cross in front separates (I wear this bra in a 38G and have asymmetrical breasts) works much better. I've had problems finding sports bras that I can wear in the car because they cause my seatbelt to sit incorrectly. I wear a 38G in other Glamorise sports bras which do need to be sized up a band and down a cup. Be sure you understand the sizing system. A DDD is an E and so forth. This band also appears as though it has high stretch ability and will wear out quickly as with some other Glamorise bras.

I'm a 36DDD (aka 36F) and it can be very hard to find sports bras in my size. I bought this bra and another so I could work out in the gym with limited eyes watching my inadvertent Baywatch impersonations.
I got the bra and was really surprised at how thin it was -- which is because it is VERY lightly lined, no cup layer here. Eventhough the cup wasn't lined, the actual seams in the cup did not rub or feel uncomfortable. It fits as well as expected, was easy to put on, and rests comfortably on my shoulders. There is no underwire, just a thick comfy strap. I'm not one to care about the "uni-boob" effect but this bra lifts and separates for those that do care.
My one (albeit major) issue was that this bra is advertised as "no bounce" but there was still A LOT of bouncing going on, on par with the amount of bounce I get in my regular, everyday bras. Perhaps it's simply because I'm a large cup size (I mean nothing short of a roll of duct tape will get me to ZERO bounce, I know), but the bouncing should be more limited than what I experienced. I will still keep the bra to wear over my regular underwire lingerie bras (which I used to do when I was a 36B-D in college).

I’m always Leary of buying a sports bra because I’m very large chested and they usually don’t support me well. This one is different. It completely supports me firmly but comfortable. I went from a 36D to a 36F after pregnancy and this is the only bra I have found since having my baby that is comfortable and flattering. I have tried VS, Third Love, Target, other Amazon bras, but for some reason this is the only one I like. I bought two in white and gray. One complaint is that there is barely lining so nips may show when cold, and you can't wear deep necklined or thin strapped shirts, but overall I love it.

Okay, first things first....do not buy this bra for is sexy appeal. It is by far the most unsexy bra you will ever wear. However, I did not buy it to lure in my mates. I bought this bra for the gym. My girls are a 34 EFF THIS (34F) and it's pretty hard for me to run or elliptical without these things going here, there and everywhere. This bra is boobie armor and I love it! I love that it has four clasps in the back. It makes the girls feel safe and secure. However, I REALLY REALLY hate any kind of bounce....so I actually wear a regular cotton sports bra over this...yes...two bras but that's just my preference. You can't beat this price either. I seriously love that this bra company is called Glamorise...because the last thing this bra does is Glamorise anything. But I LOVE it and will buy again!
