This is a super comfy bra.. which is why it's not a sports bra. The Bra fastens at the back, which is a pain. It's the right size, but tight, so you struggle getting it on. The cup size is bigger than the standard size, so it's not tight around the breasts and leaves a lot of bounce room, so not good for running. It's nice as an everyday bra, but not for sports.
I went online to see how to properly size my bra sized before ordering it. Based on my findings I was pretty close to the correct size. I like the bra, it tends to roll up a bit. Its comfortable, though my breast sometimes has to be adjusted. Its comfortable...I tossed out all my underwires and now look for more support and comfort. I will order this again in 1 band size smaller.
This is the BEST sport bra I have ever had. It was so comfortable when I tried it on, that I wore it that day, on a flight ATL to PHILA. Usually I wash all clothing beforehand, but this was so comfortable and great fitting that I felt I had no bra on, but had the support. No love handles, and no adjusting straps the whole, long, day (6am - 11pm). I'm 58 so I need support. I may not be well endowed (size 46C), but my breasts wrap around to under arms. That's why I can't wear bra with underwire. As for fitting - years ago I got measured at Victoria Secret - they sized me as 46 D, which turned out to be perfect size for years with Cacique bras. Recently I lost over 20 pounds. That's why I ordered a smaller cup. I fit, but there is no space between breasts, but no chaffing; just snug. I plan to lose more weight so I feel good about ordering smaller cup. I can change hooks' position to fit as I lose weight which I have done on all of my old Cacique bras. Unlike my Cacique bras, I have no breast under arms with this bra. I can't get over how much more flexible I am and NO love handles. I ordered 2 more sport bras and 2 regular ones from Glamorise. These are well made; not flimsy.
Recommendation: get measured at Victoria Secret. Even though I was too obese to wear their bras, they sized me, and I was surprised that I needed to increase both sizes (band and cup).
I made sure I followed the sizing instructions closely because I knew the purpose of this bra was to support for sports or other strenuous activity. Another reviewer noted that the band rolled. I thought that meant when working out it could roll. The band rolls no matter what. I even bought a size where the band was not tight - and it still rolled. Also, pay close attention to the modesty bib - it felt too modest. I found it very uncomfortable but didn't de-star because of that. The band rolling seemed to be the result of the material that was used for the band which wasn't of the same material or quality as the rest of the bra. I believe if you really need support and modesty it might be with worth putting up with the band rolling. Amazon, however, made returning the bras very easy which I appreciate since I've never returned something before! :)
I ended up returning this bra along with another Glamorise bra that I purchased. The fit was fine, but the bras were not constructed to give much in the way of support. I also did not like the extra area of fabric in the chest area that fills in what would be a v-neck. It does not lend to the comfort of the bra and seems unnecessary. I was looking for two things out of a sports bra: something to run in, and something with some padding. I did not find that in this bra. That being said, the bra would be fine for someone on a walking exercise regimen, or someone who wanted a sports bra to wear around the house. It would be a good bra to buy if that is what you are looking for.
after breast surgery, I couldn't wear hardly any bra, so was thrilled to find this one fit so well. I needed compression and support especially in the car. This became the only bra I could wear and I'd carry it with me and change into it before I got in the car. I haven't "graduated" to working out yet, but am sure it will just fine as it's brought me through the most sensitive stage.
This is the most comfortable sports bra I've ever owned. Enough support that. Can jump and run with minimal bounce. It is a little more snug in the band, but that is what I expected for this type of bra.
