I liked this bra and it fit comfortably. (I've got large breasts and I am always looking for a good comfortable bra for an active person). Unfortunately, by the end of the first day, the left strap detached from the body of the bra. (Its not like I was out operating a jackhammer all day....) The bra is advertised for "full figure,"women, as a "no bounce...sports bra". I was just moving about in my daily life. You would think that it would be sewn a little better than that.
I figured I would sew it back myself (despite the fact that I failed high school sewing) and by the time I realized that I would never successfully sew it, I had missed the Amazon return period. So, now I am the owner of a black and pink sports bra suitable perhaps for a one breasted Amazon warrior, but useless for me.
In fairness to the seller, I have no idea how they would have handled a return. I don't know if this is a 1 in a million occurrence, but it is what happened to me.
So far, so good! At a 38D I realize I am not the largest of the large-busted, but I have always struggled to find something that worked for my high-impact workouts. I've always either felt like I was strapped up so tight I could barely breathe, or else that there was real danger of knocking myself out from what I've always called "floppage." (TMI? Sorry...) This was a very nice half-way point; I felt like there was plenty of support under, over, and behind, but there was still a certain amount of "give" in the cups so I didn't feel smushed completely flat. There was still a certain degree of bounce during jumps and leaps and stuff, but it was at a much more comfortable level. I've tried far more expensive bras like those from Under Armour, and this one is soooo much more comfortable and easier to move in. As long as it doesn't give out after a week or two, I'm a happy camper and can definitely see ordering more in the future.
From the picture I imagined this to be much more robust than it is. It doesn't have any real shape to it in the area where your boobs sit; it's just a thin sheet of fabric - don't be tricked by the picture.
Imagine someone took a t-shirt and turned it into a bra, that's what I'm talking about. I'm not looking for a sports bra that has padding, but I was hoping for a sports bra that has anything more than what this one offered!!
Really disappointed, especially after reading so many good reviews. I should have known better since it was a fairly cheap buy. I'm planning on sending this back for a refund.
I am a 40D and finding a bra under $50 that has very little to no bounce is like mission impossible. I am happy to say this bra delivers. I ran six miles and felt just fine. The stitching mimics breast encapsulation you find on other bras without the added padding. Even with swollen tender breast from menses I was very comfortable. The moisture wicking fabric also works very well. Some bras are bulking under exercise top, but this one was stream lined and supportive. I will purchase more in the future. I'll update later after I've washed it a couple of times and put some miles on it.
This bra fit perfectly and meets my needs for comfort and support. I would wear it all the time, but the neckline is a little high. Still, to be comfortable and free of that nagging mid back ache women with large breasts may relate to, is worth a lot! I am a 38 D and the fit was exactly right.
