Bras are a troublesome thing for me, I have a shoulder injury that can't have straps on the shoulders. This bra is a good answer for that problem. It is comfortable to wear when standing and holds up the weight of the breasts well for the first few months. I wear this daily and after a few months, the metal boning that goes down the waist starts to become too flexible and it doesn't hold up the breasts very well after that. I have a short torso with larger stomach so when sitting, the boning doesn't lay flat, it digs into my ribs or back. I think someone with a longer torso or flatter stomach would have no problem. Another problem with daily wear is that the boning can cut through the top or bottom of the casings. I do a lot of mending for this problem. I have to have my husband or daughter fasten the hooks in back, so it is kind of hilarious to get it on. However, overall it is a well made product and creates a nice looking line in an evening gown and would have very little problems if it was worn only for special events instead of daily. Check reviews and talk to the Goddess company to get the correct size bra.
After numerous failed attempts to get a proper strapless bra to wear with my wedding gown, someone recommended this bra. The first one I ordered was my exact size and it was too big, so I ordered it again, this time two sizes smaller and it fits like a glove! I love it! Well worth the effort to get the right size. It holds everything in and provides exceptional support. I most definitely recommend this bra - you'll have no regrets.
I ordered this bra twice and both times it did not work. I am a 36 DD-DDD. I thoroughly read reviews to make sure I ordered the right size. Multiple reviews said to order down in cup size and up in band. I ordered a 40 D, worried it would be too tight, and that definitely was not the case. The second time I ordered I got a 36 DDD, and it was still too big. The band fit tight, like it should, but the cups were way off. The cups seemed to have too much material and were quite "Madonna like"/pointy. This bra seems to be built for a longer torso. The bottom of the bustier hit right on top of my hips making it look like I had love handles. So if you are around 5'6" probably not the bra for you.
if you're in between sizes, order the next one up. I had to go up from a 36DD to a 36DDD to get a good fit. surprisingly confortable, def. locks the girls down :). the back fit well under my wedding dress, but the top of the cups was slightly visible...I jsut had the seamstress sew the bra into the dress. no problem. I def. recommend this bra if your dress is substantial... I think the boning would show under a lightweight, knit, or chiffon-y style dress.
This is a fantastic product. Comfortable, and really empowering to be able to expand your wardrobe. I wore it for 6-8 hours at a wedding, and was never in discomfort, and looked fabulous the whole time.
