Beautiful Bustier, sizing is wonky.

I gave a four star review cause it is a very nice garment and holds everything where it needs to be held. I do want to make sure to say that the sizing is crazy and don't expect your real bra size to have anything to do with the size you order of this one. I purchased it for a wedding, the bride also bought the same thing. She had to return it 3x to get the size right. She wears a DD bra but would up needing a B cup in this contraption. She went up two sizes on the band size and down a few sizes on the cup. In my case, based on her experience, I ordered a 44 G instead of my usual 40 H. I expected to have to return it, that was just my starting point. Surprisingly, it is good enough so I will be keeping it. The cups are a tad roomy but enough to be a deal breaker. And I like it. It is substantial enough to keep the Girls held up and in place without straps, necessary for my bridesmaid dress to look nice. I recommend this product, but do not order your usual size and leave yourself plenty of time before the desired date of use in case you have to try a few to find the best fit.

I wore a strapless bra for my wedding and chalked it up as a miracle of engineering and decided I would never again experience the joy of wearing another one because there was no chance any strapless bra would ever be able to give me the support I needed. Fast-forward to life after two kids, and I would have punched anyone who suggested I try a strapless bra about a year ago. But, something compelled me to read a review of best strapless bras for well-endowed women and I stumbled across the name of this bra. I remember thinking it was probably going to be a huge waste of money, but I had just reached the toddler stage with my son and I felt like I owed myself this. So, I gave it a shot.

I was already in the midst of a health-kick when I bought this and had lost about 10-15lbs, but when I discovered that this bra actually worked -- worked so, SO well that I looked great in it -- and I could now wear any strapless outfit I wanted to wear, I went ahead and lost another 30lbs and had to buy another one of these bras in a smaller size. It's a FANTASTIC bra. I've recommended it to so many friends. It's given me an infinite number of new fashion options. All these things I never thought I'd ever be able to wear are suddenly in my closet. I own about a dozen strapless dresses now. I wear anything. I love it.

This magical and mighty strong bra has been the most liberating, empowering, exciting addition to my wardrobe in decades.

I can't thank you enough. I'm 41 and you truly changed my life.

I really didn't think that modern engineering had advanced enough to create a strapless bra that offers the support I need, but this bra is amazing. It hoists my 38G chest nice and high, offers full cup coverage, and is totally comfortable.

The only negatives:
- it is tricky to get into - you may need someone to snap you up in the back.
- The sizing is a little kooky. Since I wear a 38G, I went with a 40FF, as per the recommendation from other users. It is a little bunchy underneath the cup, but not enough to bother me or make me want to return it.

This is the second one I've purchased. I had to exchange the first which was super fast due to Amazon's return/UPS store drop off policy. I had a new one the next day. I am a 42 DDDD/G. I followed the original tips from others and went up a band and down a cup (44F)but I've lost weight so when I recieved my original order the cup was still too big and the band was okay but on its tightest without room to tighten more. So I reordered a 42DD and it is PERFECTION!

The only downside to this is that the torso is short so if you have a belly, and I do, you will need additional shapewear or tou will have new bumps and lumps.

The coverage and support is amazing for large breasted women! Definitely recommend and would buy in other colors.

After reading the other reviews about going two band sizes up & two cups down, I ordered a 42B instead of my usual 38C (in Victoria's Secret). I couldn't go down two cup sizes, because this bustier doesn't come in an A cup for the 42. The fit is perfect. It is neither too tight, nor too loose. I do have to fasten the hooks in the front then turn it around to the back. That was a bit tough, but when it's on it's not uncomfortable. The elastic at the bottom gives it more flexibility & also blocks the ends of the boning from poking into me. The cups are a rounded Madonna-like shape & are slightly big, but VERY slightly. I had to find a strapless bra for a bridesmaid dress that has a wrap look around the bust with an empire waist & low back (from David's Bridal - Long Mesh Dress with Cowl Back Detail). When the bustier is in place & the girls are in, the top center of the bra, where a small bow is located, pokes out of the dress when I move, so I will have to put in a small pin to hold it. If I pull the bustier down slightly while wearing the dress, it creates a dent on the top of both breasts. I had this happen with a VS strapless bra too, so I put that down to the dress being weird. Other than that the fit is fine. I do recommend following the rule of sizing two bands up & two cups down, or one in my case. Hope this helps!

I ordered this item to go under a gown. When I received it, I tried it on immediately and saw that it didn't work. The band was too big, the cups were too large, and this bra creates a "cone" effect in the boobs (I know some people like this look, which is fine, but it didn't work for me). Even if I ordered a different cup size, the cups are created in such a way that they dig into my skin, which is too bad because the bra looked cute in the picture.

The biggest issue I had was with the customer service. I tried this on without removing the tags because, according to the slips, it couldn't be returned without the tags. I took it off immediately when I saw that it didn't fit and I put it back in the box. After a few weeks of not hearing anything at all, this item was sent back to me with a card that said it couldn't be returned. The item was brand new, still had the tags, but couldn't be returned. I was not told why it was not accepted and was, instead, just given a vague explanation that it didn't meet their standards. It's hard enough ordering undergarments online, but if you're ordering from a company that isn't willing to give you feedback then you might as well not bother.

So the sizing chart - like the sizing charts for ALL bustiers I've seen - is ridiculous! With that said, I normally wear a size 36F (in Cacique bras), but I also wear size 38DDD in some bras. I have another longline front closing bra in a size 38DD, and while it's a tad large around my ribs, I like it and and have worn it quite a bit, so I may have stretched it out a tad over time. I have an hourglass figure. Anyway, I ordered the same size (40DD) in this bra, and it was HUGE! I reordered a 38D, and while it's a tad large around the waist, I really love this bra so much and am SO glad I have it for my off-the-shoulders summer dresses and blouses!

A word of advice to help you determine your correct band size: You'll need to know your own body type when deciding on the band size for this bra. My torso gets smaller from my underbust down to my waist, so I probably should've bought a 36 rather than a 38. If you have a larger upper tummy or waist than your underbust, make sure you buy a band size that will accommodate the larger measurement. Concerning cup size, if I decide to purchase a 36 band size, I'll get the DD cup. I feel like this manufacturer's cup sizes run larger than the cups of the manufacturer's of my other bras. I would recommend going down at least one size for your first order.

AMAZING bustier!

If you are like myself and many women with large, heavy breasts and can't physically do the strapless bra thing- THIS IS THE ONE TO GET!!! It has double eye-and-hook closures, so if you have the body shape like mine and listen to the reviews about going up 2 band sizes and going down 1 or 2 cup sizes, it will be close. For the others, right on. I should have only done one band size up, but it still gets the job done. It holds in the most natural shape possible and holds well. I have had so many experiences with strapless bras slinking down or just not holding "the girls" in place. So I decided to do some testing. I did the arm raise- no movement. Arm raise and jumping and moving violently around- no movement. I bent to the sides- no movement, same with side bend and wild movement. I bent over- no movement. bent over and wildly thrash like I was seizing. Guess what, no movement! The corset midsection never moved and "the girls" never came out of their spaces. I also have a problem with "the girls" slumping and coming together in the center, no matter that cut of the bras. But this bustier keeps them separated, but not too far. If you are looking for a push-up cleavage exposing bustier, this is not for you. This thing gives excellent coverage and control and keeps "the girls" in the most natural position possible. Overall, THE BEST bra/bustier out there! And to make it even better, I had gotten the Shaper Queen 1020 women waist cincher girdle belly trainer corset body shapewear to control the abdominal and lower belly area. I can wear these two together, overlapping of course, and there is no tell-tale of them being there, let alone overlapping. They both stay put and are fantastic! I highly recommend getting these two if you are looking for great control without all the bulkiness! I will certainly be getting more of these bustiers for more daily wear!

Do Not Waste Your Time And Money

I ordered the biggest size they had. I'm a normal size M to L. Despite ordering the biggest size, it was a wasted effort. It arrived in a heat sealed bag. The tag on the return said "If this bag is ripped or opened, no returns or refunds are accepted" so it's a bad way to refuse returns. If returns and refunds aren't accepted, just say so. The biggest size I got was so small that it didn't even fit halfway around me. The fabric is this cheap styled crap lace that tore if you stretched it so the product is extremely bad quality. The cups didn't fit unless you're a A cup or ... if there's a cup smaller. It's meant for short people so if you're average height or taller, this won't work for you. The "bones" in this were so cheap that I think they were made of fabric. It's a bendable plastic that doesn't hold its shape. Extremely low quality for the price. The only good thing, if anything, was that the seams were sewn really well, but that's not something to brag about. Don't bother buying this thing.
