My husband works in construction, I work as a mechanic, this mat will not hold a lot of boot dirty, mud or water when we come in the front door. The color is accurate and it doesnt hurt your feet when you walk on it, I just wished it would hold a lot for dirt.

I've had it open for a few days and it is still not flat, even though I have boxes smashing it down. I like the size and texture of the rug. The blue is brighter in person, not a dark navy. I have it on top of my carpeting and it slides around quite easily, doesn't "grip." It looks like it will protect my carpet this winter.

I don't know how strong a gorilla's grip is, but these rugs are not great quality.

I purchased 2 of these door mats for inside of our home. We put one in the mud room and one by the front door. The rugs showed up in a small Amazon box (not a great sign) folded and wrapped in plastic. As soon as I saw them folded so small, I knew they would not be great quality. The rubber backing does allow for the anti slip qualities described but the rug itself seems flimsy. It is not great quality and the top is not durable enough to grip well when trying to clean my boots. I have not tried to clean the rug yet so I can't say much about that. It is light weight and could easily be taken outside to hose it off. While other similar items cost more (much more in some cases), I would purchase another brand if I had it to do over again.
