One would think that with a name like gorilla grip one could be fairly certain that the carpet would not slip, right?
Wrong.
I put it down on my clean dry floor yesterday, and stepped on it as I was getting out of the tub, and away it went!
If my son had not been home, I might still be laying on the floor in a broken heap.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS RUG! It is dangerous.

The media could not be loaded.

They are soft & absorbant, but not the thickets plushest I’ve seen. They show the banding that holds it around the edge, which bothers me. I’ve seen others in homegoods, Macy’s & JCPenny that are way better. The non-slip grip on the back is nice, but I will be returning them. The color is perfect & I LOVE how they had all colors & sizes to choose from. Quality overal could be better for the price.

I had purchased 2 rugs that perfectly matched my bathroom. I liked them, but they didn’t hold of up long at all, which was very disappointing. So I ordered 2 of these Gorilla Grip Original Luxury Chenille Bathroom Rugs (based on reviews) to replace them. I like them. These Gorilla rugs are less expensive and much more durable than those rugs. I love the wide selection of colors and sizes they offer. I have the larger rug on the carpet in front of my vanity and the smaller rug on the floor in front of my shower. The one on floor stays in place better than the one on the carpet. Both look good and feel great on bare feet. I have only washed them once so far, but they laundered quite nicely, which is always a plus for rugs. I also ordered 2 of these rugs for my elderly father’s house. His rugs had lost their adhesiveness on their back and were slipping hazards to him/his wife. These rugs offer them a bit of safety, at least in that regard.

This rug is not good for the bathroom. Any moisture gets under it and you slip and fall! Of corse there is moisture in the bathroom after a shower. I would not recommend this for a bathroom maybe a bedroom or area with hardwood floors. It is soft and nice but very dangerous for a bathroom as intended.

with the rubberized backing, these rugs do not slide on a ceramic tile floor, secure, easy care,, washes in machine just fine, I do not put them in dryer because of the backing. The colors are bright, soft to the touch. I have had them for over a year, would order again.
