Consistency in product quality lacking

I have bought this several times and was quite happy with the previous purchases. However, this latest bag was NOT export quality. Instead of pea sized, I ended up with a bag of sand sized Frankencense suitable for a large scoop for ceremonies but not for using for individual use. Consistency in quality would help improve my review.

UPDATE: After contacting the seller about my concerns; they acted swiftly without being asked to do so. They were apologetic and offered to send me - free of charge - the remaining half pound of the incense. I can appreciate a seller who puts its customers first. Class act all the way....

Govinda is typically my go-to for all my incense resin needs. This time around, I was just a little less than impressed. I don’t necessarily dislike the product but I’m not really in love with the quality. Typically Frankincense is much more aromatic; whereas this had much more smoky ashy-like aroma in the background that really took away from the Frankincense. Also, the bag is definitely not at advertised. You’ll be disappointed at the amount received. The bag itself is only half full and contains lots of fillers, like resin dust, which is like sand. I weighed it and it came in at .654 lbs. So it is advertised as a pound of Frankincense, what was received was about a half pound of dust. Though at this price point, I can live with it. Should you know of a quality Frankincense, by all means, drop me a note - I would really appreciate it. Peace and blessings to you...

Smells like plastic

Disappointed. I usually buy young living's frankincense and that smells great. I thought I'd try Govinda brand. Although you get a huge bag, which is a giant amount, it doesn't smell pure. It has a strong plastic smell when burning and it closed up my throat. Although a lot was given product quality is below par. Thanks for your fast delivery and quantity, however, I won't buy again.

Scent almost non-existent

You get what you pay for. Sadly, although the price of the Frankincense was much lower than buying from "Monastery Icons", where we previously bought Byzantine Blend incense, this cannot touch the wonderful incense we had before. We are going back to Monastery Icons for their incense, which is rich and not so much smoke, but more prominent scent. This filled our house with smoke and little scent of Frankincense. Disappointed.
The better incense is expensive, yes, but worth it.

It's a lot of incense for the money, which should have been the first clue that it wasn't going to be very high quality. The incense doesn't produce much scent. It's really, really mild, actually. It smells like you're burning something, but not frankincense. I bought another brand on Amazon that was much less per $ but the quality was vastly superior.

I don't know about this. The quality was low. Are you all sure it is from Ethiopia. It does not smell like it the scent is low. I can barely smell it. I am not so happy with the quality. I will burn it again today and update. I burnt it on the coal and was not happy at all. Now I will use the electric burner and see if it is better on there.
