I used to love these shorts. I have multiple pairs that I bought a while ago that are great. Knowing this I bought more in different colors and had to return all of them. They have since updated their manufacturing template to make these look very very low quality. The sewing around the crotch area is weird and draws all of the fabric in, making it bunch up at the crotch. This makes a weird ripple pattern around the crotch and makes it seem like the shorts are meant for children, but an adult is trying to wear them. This happens when standing with legs straight and is exaggerated drastically upon moving in any way. I guess my search for shorts that aren't ultra low quality will continue as these are all being returned.

These shorts would best fit slender people. I'm a stocky 5'-10" 220 lbs and I ordered the XL's as I have a 39" waist. They basically road up my back side and pinched down on my little guys during my workout. I had to push them down about 2 to 3 inches lower than my belt line to finish my workout. I looked like a young rapper with my undies showing. I wound up giving them to my girlfriend who said they fit her just right. I'll just say she's skinnier than me by far. I gave them an extra star because they do seem to be made well, just not sized right for me.

Nice color. Good intention. But the inseam is wrong, the cut of the material is substandard, and therefore the "construction of all these parts" results in a pair of shorts that doesn't "fit" the human body. That's the only reason a company such as Bonobos is so trendy. They assemble their products so that they "fit" the human body. Nothing more than that. Not rocket science.

I bought the 2-pack of black and navy in a Large size. For reference I am 6’2” and 165lbs. The navy is at least wearable but is a little more snug than I like, making it too uncomfortable for casual wear. The black is EXTREMELY tight. It basically has the waist of a small despite both tags saying large. It’s unwearable for me, and unfortunately I missed the return window by 1 day since I was traveling for work and couldn’t manage to print the return label etc. This product is overpriced for the quality you get, I guess I’ll stick to name brands going forward smh.
