Runs Small; Great Alternative to More Expensive Brands

I was looking for sporty material -- the sort of active shirt that has a silky, light quality to it. I ordered a bunch of different Hanes t-shirts to compare. This shirt was pretty much what I was looking for. It is 100% polyester.

My favorite Hanes activewear material is Hanes Women's Raglan V-Notch Tee Hanes Women's Raglan V-Notch Tee, Ebony Heather, X-Large which is 60% rayon and 40% polyester but I can't find it in short sleeves.

The shirt has exposed seams which always scream activewear to me. This matches perfectly with the corresponding Hanes Sport Women's Performance Capri Legging Hanes Women's Sport Performance Capri Legging, Dada Grey/Ebony Geo, Large .

The shirt supposed to be more fitted so it runs smaller. I compared it with a the same sized Hanes cotton t-shirt Hanes Women's X-Temp V-Notch Tee Hanes Women's X-Temp V-Notch Tee, Neon Lime Heather, X-Large that I ordered on the same day and the Sport Performance is clearly smaller. (see pictures)

Great buy at $4.

wanted to love this shirt, but...usually wear a large in tshirts bc like to not have snug fit (have size B bust and big stomach) so ordered one size L and one size XL to see. even XL was skin tight!! most unflattering. decided not to try larger sizes even though shirt seemed nice-so beware! i would size up considerably

The material is very thin. I wouldn’t be comfortable wearing it without an under shirt or tank top (which I hate wearing). I will also say that if you are large chested (like I am) the length is not long enough to cover your waist if you raise your shoulders.

The seam under the arm- OUCH

The seam under the arm where it folds into sleeve hem CHAFES! The sleeve hits at the widest part of arm and then add the bulk where the seam folds into the sleeve hem and it is quite painful after a couple miles! Fine for wearing around the house but I would much prefer a soft cotton tee for that!

Nice material and I wanted to like the shirt but it was too small. I ordered a large and ended up giving it to my roommate who normally wears a medium, and it was tight on her through the chest and shoulders and hangs loose around the bottom.
