This shirt is neither too snug nor too loose. That's not always easy to find. It seems like most tops are either very tight-fitting and can show flaws for the not-so-perfect figure. Other tops are rather straight or loose-fitting so that it gives a non-flattering bulky look. This top is comfortable, stretchy, and complimentary to the typical female figure. I personally have broad shoulders so I usually go a size up to compensate. But I would say overall that it is true to size.

Defective - side seams twisted

The fit, sheerness, material stretch all as described. However, in the manufacturing, the fabric was cut wrong and the side seams were twisted around, causing one to appear near the front and one to the back. I know from experience that this gets worse with multiple washings. It might not bother you at all, but it does me!

The neckline of this shirt was cut oddly and did not lay right on the neck. Almost looked like it was cut incorrectly. Quality and fit were nice otherwise, but unfortunately I had to return it because of the funky neckline.

I like the stretch and the color and it washes well. The only thing is it a bit form fitting so if you want a roomier top get it a size up. I like it enough to get another but I would definitely size up.

Just needed a simple navy top to go with some navy checked pants I bought and there wasn't all that much available, especially without a logo. I would never have considered Hanes, frankly I think of it as an underwear brand, but the quality and fit were really great.

Expected better from Hanes. The fit is a bit uncomfortable, neck is too large and bodice is a bit tight, but sleeves are fine. Seems like the sizing of the shirt is just off in areas. Luckily I bought this for layering with a vest.

I bought 3 of these tops, navy, gray, white. Love all. Fit well and like that they are a little longer for the torso. I can't review how the tops come out of the dryer as I don't use a dryer for many items. I wash in cold, hang to air dry and sometimes I need to touch up with the iron. These tops meets my needs.

Inconsistent fitting

Bought this too in black and it fit so well/I loved it so much that I ordered one in navy the same size and it’s significantly larger. I’d hoped a couple of cycles in the wash would help but it will now be in the donate pile. I expect this from no-name brands but surprised at Hanes lack of consistency.
