I purchased 3 shirts, grey, turquoise and black. All were terrible. I had to double check the fabric content on all three and the label on each stated 95% cotton 5% spandex. If there was any cotton at all it might have been 5% and spandex 95%. It had so much stretch I could have strung a bow with it and fired an arrow. They're going back. I hope Hanes looks into this problem and corrects it.
Ordered 2 colors of this shirt in size small expecting them to be good. But they are very very loose and big. Not sure why there’s no XS option in case people want to order a size down for a better fit as pictured. Disappointed and returned.
This is a basic raglan sleeve 3/4 round neck form fitting true to size top. I never bought Hanes for myself, generally socks or underwear for others, but this top is fine, flattering, and a well made to be worn alone or as a layer. I needed a black top to tuck in to high waisted belted pants. It is slim around the waist and very comfortable. I am 5’1” and 102 pounds, usually wear an XS or S depending on cut. It fits perfectly on me for my purpose of wearing with belted pants. It got great reviews, but it’s nothing special or outrageous, but a nicely made basic. It is 95 percent cotton and 5 percent spandex , not too tight and cotton.
I love the sleeve length and the fit is good except that it is too wide on the bottom (I do have small hips). It will be good for wearing under sweaters in the winter for extra warmth, as well as a nice shirt to wear with jeans in warmer weather.
(I gave the first review 4 stars, but lowered it to 3 stars for the second one below.)
The above is the review for my first order of this shirt on 4 August 2020. I placed a second order on 17 June 2021 and found that the 2 shirts I received are much smaller and tighter fitting than before. The sleeves are about an inch shorter, the body of the shirt is about an inch smaller and the shirt length about 1 3/4 inches shorter. I am keeping them to wear as nightshirts, but just wanted anyone ordering this shirt to be aware that they may need to order a larger size than normal. I paid under $7 for them and would not pay more for this product. Thank you!
The fabric is in between light the medium weight on skin. Super soft. And very fitted. I love the feel and how it is on my body type. I prdered the small. Unfortunately they do not make XS, so I had to stick with what I got. The top seems like a big chested woman tried it on first before me because it's stretched out up top. But, it does fit.
5'7.25" 132lbs, 33 b/c, XS-m depending on brand and country it was made in. I normally wear a s-m in juniors and XS-s woman's. This fit just right. Perfect for under my scrubs.
I enjoy the neckline on this top as it's slightly a boat neck style... not full on, but leans that way. I also enjoy the 3/4 sleeve as I wear them occasionally under my scrub tops and don't have to worry about the sleeve getting in the way.
I say they run TTS. They are nice and soft and not thin, but are not thick either so as to make one too warm. Nice layering piece.
This tee is one of my favorites! The material is breathable, but not too thin like a lot of tees. It’s also flattering and can be worn in different seasons. I’d say it’s true to size - for reference I’m around 5’7 and 125 lbs and a Small fits perfect. Highly recommend this basic and versatile piece!
Nothing about this shirt I didn't like. It's comfortable, and also good for working in if you are working in hospitality or in any working environment where you don't need to roll your sleeves up constantly. Good for just every day casual wear too. I'll buy a couple more. Price is good also!
