Very easy to set up and use. I was able to link the bulbs to Google Home and use voice commands within 10 mins.
I use these bulbs for my floor uplighters. Perfect for setting moods in any room. They can change colours and are dimmable. From the app you can also use a feature which makes the light sync to music via your phone's mic

Doesn't work with 5G; Doesn't work with Alexa, doesn't reset properly

These bulbs could not be used by us, and will be returned.

1) Doesn't work with 5 Ghz Wifi networks, which is not mentioned in the specs at all. Most people are moving to 5GHz due to congestion on 2.4 - this needs to be mentioned.

2) Not actually certified for Alexa, despite being listed as "Amazon's Choice." Does not appear in Alexa's list of brands when adding a device. Could not be added as a generic device. The included app did work to control one of the bulbs, but as I was unable to connect to Alexa it's not worth keeping these.

3) One of the bulbs in the two-pack could not be reset to factory settings even when following the instructions exactly. , so was unable to reconfigure it after realising the lack of 2.4 Ghz support.

4) The brand name used here "HaoDeng" is not shown on the bulb or packaging. Not even sure I got the authentic product. So don't buy this one - choose a real brand name.

This product is good value for money, however I did expect it to connect to google home and be accessible by voice control. It does connect to google however it is in capable i've been activated boy voice only through the app which is a bit disappointing and the main reason why I was buying it.

It's not a major deal breaker just thought I'd notify others before buying so if voice control is a major factor for you maybe look elsewhere.

We were looking at a few options for the RGBW bulbs and the Haodeng bulbs have turned out to be exactly what we're after. $26.99 for 2 bulbs is great value compared to the Mirabella ones that sell for $30 for one bulb. The app is great as well, easy to set custom colours and switch between each saved colour.

I ordered this a couple of days ago and it arrived promptly and sooner than I thought. Connecting them was super easy and they were also compatible with E14 to E27 converters I had purchased. They connected to wifi easily and without any issues. I integrated them to Google Home and the Magic Home app is easy to use and intuitive. Overall I'm very happy with them and will be ordered more lights for the rest of the house!

Feel like wasting some money? Well roll up! Roll up!! Why Amazon bill these as working with Alexa is beyond me. Don’t do that Amazon. Don’t. Because these don’t work with Alexa. I’ve tried everything. They don’t work with Alexa, they do NOT. You can buy good quality LED gloves for less. Do that. If you want LED gloves that work with Alexa. BUY SOMETHING ELSE.

So far I have used the HaoDeng WiFi LED Light for about 2 weeks. The experience so far has been positive. The installation process is easy if you know how to connect to a WiFi network and download an app to your device. An account needs to be created to use the app, which is pretty standard these days. Once set up the app has a variety of functions. If you are connected to the same network the additional features such as music and Smart assistant is possible. If you are just using the phone telco provider network you can use the primary features such as turn on and off, change colour and use a timer to set to turn on when you arrive home or off when you fall asleep.
I personally enjoy the colour options of RGB and all the colours in between for different ambient settings.

I initially misunderstood the ad. It appeared that the light bulbs came with their own remote control. So I complained about it and Amazon kindly arranged a return. But when I read further I realised it was a question of downloading an ap on your mobile. I have since installed one light bulb and it works via the ap. I have yet to find out how the "music function" works and it also has a timer mode. I will certainly be keeping the item
