Helly Tech is the waterproof and breathable outer layer between you and the elements. Its unique membrane will keep water molecules out, while allowing sweat vapor to pass through – keeping you dry from the outside and comfortable on the inside. Helly Tech is a tough weatherproof outer layer, specially designed for the harshest conditions. It is a combination of a DWR-treated outer fabric, a highly breathable and waterproof membrane, and often a highly breathable inner fabric, mesh or lining. Helly Tech is available in three performance tiers, Helly Tech Protection, Helly Tech Performance and Helly Tech Professional in our adult line. All three are waterproof, windproof, breathable, Seam Sealed and treated with a DWR on the outer fabric. Our kids and juniors gear is made with Helly Tech Protection and Performance fabrics.

The quality of these are great, good for lower temps, sturdy material, BUT they were huge, especially for kids sizing. They were way too big for my 15 year old girl, too big for me, and fit my husband! (5’9”, 160lbs).

Great pants. Perfect fit. It’s hard to find any pants that fit my skinny 8 year old well, but these are adjustable and fit great. He’s played in the snow and skied a few times in them and they’re holding up well to the elements.

The quality is great. The orange color very bright. Looks a little wide in the legs and SO big at the waist. Bought my son this version for men last year and they were less big than this youth version. If u have a husky kid. It’s good for you.
