A bit disappointing.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 February 2022
I'm not crazy about this book. Given the cost I was expecting more but it's very basic. The artwork is simplistic and the language used seems to be quite juvenile. Being a beginner does not necessarily equate to needing childlike instruction or wanting to make ugly art in vivid colours. I would not recommend this book.
Great Watercolor book!!!Reviewed in the United States on 7 August 2021
I have tons of watercolor books and this one is one of the best ones i bought so far!The pages are beautiful and on glossy thicker pages,The book has a hard cover and spirl bind so its easy to lay open and follow the instructions while painting, it has easy step by step projects for beginners and seasoned painters, theres so many great ideas and such in this book i cant write it all, just buy the book its worth every penny! You wont be disappointed!😁

Well designed book, but not quite what I was looking forReviewed in the United States on 4 February 2022
This book is very nicely designed and has beautiful colors that capture the eye. I think this book would be great for beginners if they like the artist's painting style. While I did like a few of the projects, I just wasn't all that interested in most of them. I wish Amazon would show a few more pages of the books they sell so you could get as better idea of the projects before you decide to make a purchase. When you are looking into a book like this, they only show you a few pages, mostly from the front of the book, which leaves out most of the projects. The reason you purchase a book like this is for the projects as much as for the instruction. I ended up deciding to return it as it wasn't my style.

Best Watercolor Book ever!Reviewed in the United States on 28 July 2021
Been waiting for the new Kristy Rice book since April. It arrived today and is chock full of great watercolor tips, examples, how to information. Have purchased several of her other books and really feel I’m acquiring skills every day. Invest a little, have gained a lot.

Beautiful bookReviewed in the United States on 19 August 2021
After having a long dry spell in doing any watercolor painting I needed some inspiration. I saw this book and thought I’d give it a try. I have several books (I’m embarrassed to reveal just how many.I have) but this book is great! Colorful, inspiring and spiral bound. Making a painting based on a textile print? What a great idea that in turn has given me more ideas! It’s a great book and it’s written in a way that’s full of fun. Lots of great tips too.
