This soap dispenser arrived today with the top detached from the body so it is more like a cup with a push in lid, I am concerned that if it is knocked over all the soap will spill out or even when we use the pump it will dislodge the lid part and spill everywhere. If I had known that the top part was separate then I probably would not have bought it.It looks nice when put together but how functional it will be we will have to see. It makes it very easy to fill though!

I don't typically leave a negative review, but on this occasion felt annoyed enough to do so. I had bought this to decant some (quite expensive) shampoo. I filled the bottle up and picked it up only to have the whole bottom come apart leaving me with the lid. Almost half of the contents spilled on my bedroom carpet. I stood in shock for a few seconds before actioning damage control and cleaning up as best I could. I believe the lid top had been glued on but had not been done properly. One would expect better quality given the price.

I’m using this for decanted shower gel as I buy large bulk bottles which are too huge and not very pretty to put in the shower. This one was expensive, but I have had other items from the make so I thought it was worth a try. I wanted something strong which looks nice. The bottle is easy to fill, and looks lovely on the shelf in the shower. It’s very good quality and pumps efficiently. It looks like it will last well. I’m very pleased with it and may buy another for the ensuite.

Just a warning to double check which size you need before ordering. I followed answers to questions as to whether the small size would hold an Oral B electric toothbrush, only to find when it arrived that mine just fitted, but my sons toothbrush, also an Oral B, didn't, so it must depend on the style.
For the price I paid and because of the situation we're currently in, I didn't bothered returning it, so reordered the large size, which fits both of our toothbrushes nicely, along with the toothpaste.

Unexpected filling method causes problems

First the good, it is made well, sturdy, slimline and the pump works just fine.
however to fill it up you remove the whole top section (clear top).
Now you might think that this is not a problem but it does not screw on, it presses on and it is a fairly loose fit.
I place mine next to the sink and because of it being a busy and sometimes slippery place the dispenser sometimes gets knocked over. Every time this tips over the whole top section flops off and all the contents fall out.
Unfortunately for me this is a deal breaker. I did try putting tape around the whole top rim but then you are going to have to change that every time you fill up.

If you are putting this where it has plenty of space then it may not be a problem for you, but if you think it may be knocked over then I would advise you to look elsewhere.
