Compact Storage Container Sets. The problem with most sets of storage containers is that they take up precious cupboard space when not in use and usually require lids and bases to be stored separately. This can make pairing the corresponding elements a real hassle. This innovative, space-saving design neatly combines the bases and lids of multiple storage containers in the same space as one. Bases nest neatly inside each other and lids snap conveniently together making them very easy to find - and all elements are clearly colour-coded for speedy pairing. When closed all containers are airtight.Lids and bases - freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe. Designed by Morph. Design registered.

Mine were washed in a dishwasher (low temperature, suitable for plastics) as they are supposed to be dishwasher safe. I suspect that has resulted in a faster mismatch between fit of lid to base and thus the lack of a proper seal. I had mine for around three years but realised I had stopped using them after about six months, opting automatically for other storage items from the cupboard (my bulkier lock and lock range). They may last longer if washed by hand but my lock and lock containers have been used for much longer, never leaked and are also placed in a dishwasher, so I have thrown out the Joseph Joseph and reverted to lock and lock.
They look great. And the idea is great. But the reality is quite different. You can get better tubs from a pound store. Honestly.
The problem is that once you’ve diswashed them a couple times and microwaved the beans or whatever, something happens to their size. Either the lids shrink slightly or the tubs expand, either way, the lids stop fitting pretty soon after normal kitchen use.
Often times with tub lids not quite fitting, a wee thump in that corner sets them straight. Not these tubs. Instead the lip that won’t fit shatters, sending small shards of jagged plastic into the food – thereby ruining it!
Honestly, these are the worst (and most expensive) food storage tubs I’ve ever used. AVOID.
