I’m am 5’4 and around 135 pounds with small boobs(34B) After reading the reviews I got a medium instead of following the size chart that said I should order a small- thanks Reviewers! No way would I want this any smaller. That said, day one- I’m in love! I work in construction and have struggled finding a bra that doesn’t cause issues at work. This was no slippage, no adjusting, I’ve been home for over four hours, but haven’t bothered taking it off! Not sure if it would work so well for the curvier ladies, but for me it fits like a glove. No problem with the zipper thus far. I don’t write many reviews, but thought this was worthy.
After researching many front-close post-surgical bras, I bought 2 of these bras to wear after having a lumpectomy. While it isn’t marketed as a post-surgical bra, it is fabulous and completely surpassed my expectations. Compression is great—far better than the compression band (like a Velcro-enhanced ace bandage) my surgeon provided. It has removable pads, one of which I removed to insert a small ice pack. I have slept in it and gone on outdoor walks—it’s super comfy. The zipper stays up the entire time I wear it, even though I chose not to hook the central hook (that is placed midway between top and bottom of zipper, to provide an extra safeguard against unzipping). It’s incredibly soft and comfortable and I like that it comes in colors, not just white, beige, gray and black like many designated “surgical bras.” It’s really a fantastic bra, for this purpose, at least.
I wanted something I didn't have to wrestle out of that would provide a bit of support for low impact workouts like hiking, so that I don't sweat on my regular nice bras. This fit the bill quite well. It's as easy to get into as a jacket. Just unzip the front and put your arms in. Then pull the sides together and zip. The zipper is easy to fasten and stays up without a problem. I took out the removable cups because they looked a bit awkward & fake. The material is soft and doesn't dig in anywhere, unlike the zip front sports bra for double the price that I tried from Victoria's Secret. Fit is true to band size (at least for me the cup size didn't seem to matter). My only complaint is that it's cut quite high above the breasts, so it sticks out under most of my tank tops and there's no cleavage to be seen. I can live with that.
I found this bra at a local store and found it was the only bra I like for running. Comfort - easy to get on - support and doesn't MASH everything. Since finding this bra I got rid of all my other sport bras and when I found this one on Amazon I was so excited. I wouldn't usually wear a Large - but since I had one already I knew that they seem to run pretty small. I would normally buy a medium but the large was the right size. Easy to put on - no pulling over your head and mashing the goods! I may have to buy a spare to make sure I can continue to get these. The best sport/running bra I have every found!!!
Just got this about an hour ago, so I'll update this with any issues that arise. For reference: I'm a 32B / C depending on the time of the month. Right now that means I'm a C, and the size small is quite comfortable. The knit fabric is causing a slight itch around the bottom band, but I will wait and see if I think this is an issue. I'm tempted to think of it as a way to remind me to change out of this immediately after a workout to prolong its life; it's so comfortable I could easily forget. Definitely holds everything in place, and if it wasn't for that tiny amount of scratchiness, I would hardly notice that I have it on.
As for the zipper, I hope not to run into any breakage issues that other reviewers mentioned, but for those of you unsure how to keep the zipper up, it locks into place when you press the pull all the way down against the zipper. You can test this. It isn't going to go anywhere unless you bump it up out of the down position. It's just something to give a pre-workout check, like putting on your seatbelt.
I underwent oncoplastic surgery 3 weeks ago. Now that I'm out of the surgical bra, I needed to find a wire free sports bra. I've searched the mall - from Victoria's Secret, Macy's, Nordstroms, and Nieman Marcus. None of the bras worked. I came home and ordered about 10 sports bras from Amazon. THIS one is the only one which fits comfortably. I'm wearing it for medical reasons, not for the gym, and it must be comfortable as I have to sleep in it too. The fabric is nice, as well as the fit. After the countless bras I've tried on (some too big, others too small, or the fabric feels like a swimsuit), I'm sticking to this one and today ordered it in other colors.
I received this sports bra on time and tried it on. Fit was perfect. My main concern based on the reviews I've read for any sports bra was that the zippers would not stay zipped or difficult to manage. So far, I have not any issues, easy to zip, and it stays zipped.
Due to rotator cuff issues I prefer a front zip sports bra. I tried the champion one from target and the maidenform one from amazon but this one was the best fit. All of them have issues with the zipper slipping down. This one was slightly snug (I also purchased a large but this was a better fit). The one from Maidenform was a 1950s pointy robot fit. The Champion one from Target was okay. The UnderArmour one had a complicated back strap that was hard to put on and the whole point was to make it not difficult to put on so I sent that one back. After trying all of those, I found this one to be the best. I do high-impact aerobics.
I purchased two of these bras (black and gray) after having a breast reduction. I’ve had the chance to wear, wash, and wear again and I think these are fantastic. They are comfortable, the hook closure makes getting it zipped up super simple, and unlike some other reviewers I didn’t have any issues with the zipper unzipping. In terms of workouts I’ve only taken these on walks so far since I’m not cleared to do much else, so can only speak to that. However for daily wear, sleep, and walks these have proven to be a perfect post surgery bra that I see myself continuing to get much use out of after I’m all healed. I also found these to be true to the Jockey size chart and didn’t size up.
Unable to reach behind me because of a broken arm, I couldn't fasten a regular bra so this zip in the front one saved me. I had to send the first one back as it was too small - the sizing chart is rather unhelpful as there are sizes that fit into a couple of categories. If in doubt, I would go with the larger size. Good quality bra, the zipper works great and it is pretty comfortable. The straps are very wide and can show on a scoop neck top.
