While the products came in rather quick, the items were poorly made. Won't buy again. The glitter was all over everything, box exploded with glitter. The bows on the top of the lids were not secure at all, had to re-attach every one back. The glitter on the boxes were patch and not fully covered where it should be but there was glitter coming off anywhere my hand touched just to get them out of the boxes they were shipped. Not to mention, I ordered 2 sets one side of the large red boxes were dented in, while on the back I didn't have to have that seen and the stocking holder part kept sliding out of the small notch when placed on my fireplace. There is no snap in part to keep those also secure. The makers...could totally do better at this. As I will not be ordering these ever again. Will discard at the end of the holiday. Just disappointed. Oh and make sure to add rocks to the inside of the boxes to keep them from in place or the weight of the stockings will pull them off your mantel if that is what you intend to use them for. If you don't fill your stockings, no weight is not necessary.
These are very cheaply made. Glitter is everywhere and chunks of it are missing. The boxes are metal and scratched up. The bows keep coming off. The hooks are removable and DO NOT STAY IN. I bought these as cute Christmas decor to hold stockings, but the hooks fall right out, so they do not serve their purpose. They might be ok as standard Christmas decor if they were better looking.
They're relatively lightweight, but I solved that issue by placing small jar candles inside the holders. The bottom of the holder is a bit "rough" so if you're placing it on nice furniture or delicate fabric, you'll want to protect that as it can scratch the surface or snag the fabric
When buying, I was under the impression that the shiny parts were just designed that way, but no - the shiny parts are covered in glitter, and the coverage is very inconsistent; some parts were missed and stand out because they dont have any glitter at all, some have so much glitter that it flakes off if you touch the box. If you don't mind glitter getting EVERYWHERE, I recommend these stocking holders because they do look great from a distance. But because they're cheap, covered in glitter, and shoddily made, they dont look great upclose.
Bought these for the family this year and they are cute and I really like them. I can only give them 3 stars because the hook at the bottom that holds the stockings in place keeps falling out of them. I understand you want to be able to detach the hooks to store them but I wish there was a way to lock those piece in place while you have them on display.
I do not recommend these. They are very cheaply made. The bows won't stay on. The glitter is not glued evenly. There are bends in the boxes. If they cost of these were $5 they may be more justifiable. But I would not recommend.
From afar, they're cute. They are covered in glitter that sheds like crazy. The paint quality isn't great up close.
Poor design: the hangers just slide into a bracket on the bottom of the presents; nothing holds them in there. So, if someone pushes back on the present, the stocking (with hanger) would fall. Or, if someone too vigorously jostles the stocking, the stocking and hanger will fall.
The containers are too light weight. They will hold empty stockings but if you put anything in the stocking the box couldn’t hold it. I had to find heavy rocks to put inside the boxes. One fell on the floor when trying to get it out of the packaging and bent. They were cheap to purchase, and they are cheaply made. I will look for something else next year.
