Terrible. The puzzles are all black and white where color would be necessary to solve them. The first issue was found on page 6, a “find the five differences“ puzzle. After my 6-year-old daughter could only find three after looking for a bit, I tried. Eventually I went online to find the puzzle—there is no answer key provided—luckily I found the picture online. It turns out the actual/original visual is color and the one provided in the book is black and white. Thus, we could not find two of the differences because you needed to be able to see that the colors were mismatched, which was not possible with gray-scale. I don’t know how many of these issues exist in the book because after finding one on page 6 we decided to return. Not worth the frustration of trying to figure out a puzzle when you’re not provided the right materials.

We have a neighbor who is moving from one side of the state to another and they have a 5-year-old child. We needed something to add to a going away gift that would be nice for their daughter. This fit the bill perfectly. It is a 379-page activity book that she can work on before, during, and after the trip to keep her occupied and happy.

If you would search for these activity books you will find most are much smaller and if you find one at 100 pages, that would be the "big one" and close to the cost of this.

While this worked for what we needed, keep in mind that although you have 379 pages, the activities will be around 10.

Pros
Contains many different activities giving a variety.
The cost is decent considering the number of pages.
Contains activities geared for a number of ages. So what they can't do now, they may be able to do at a later time.

Cons
No answer key was provided in the back.
The listing does not specify the entire book is black and white with no color. The color would certainly be ideal for find the difference activites.

Wish List
This item but with color under $20 bucks with answer key.

Buy a name brand puzzle book. This book seems like a great value, but it isn't.

The pages of the puzzle book are flimsy and dollar store quality with no color except for black and white. The puzzles that have "find the differences" on them are occasionally incomplete. For example- you may have to find 6 differences but can only find 5. My husband and I tried to find the differences after our child could not on a couple of pages. Well, that's because there wasn't a difference for the last supposed difference. The other puzzles and mazes in the book are poorly done.

Stick to name brand puzzle books: scholastic, national geographic, highlights for kids, Etc.

Not impressed...i bought it even though it was black and white thinking okay. It is 365 pages but i wish the pages were mixed instead of sections.
I am using this during downtime while homeschooling. I like the different activities but like others said there is no answer key so that is annoying because now i have to help.
The cross words are to hard for my 6 almost 7 year old.
And the last few pages are wasted because they are cursive tracing which my son does not want to do and is not appropriate for his age.

So 2 sections arent usable because i bought this for him to do on his own so he wouldnt be bored.

Overall i would not buy it again i only kept it because we needed something and we wrote in in.

I was disappointed with the puzzles in this book. I bought it for a 5 year old but there are very few puzzles that someone that age is capable of doing. Lots of word searches, crossword puzzles and such but not too much for smaller kids. If we hadn't written in it already, I'd return it and get my money back
