I found this very comfortable when on, but quite difficult to get on. I bought the 3x but will buy the next size just for ease of dressing. No good for going out in, but perfect for working around the house. Gives support with comfort. I would give it a five start if it was easier to get on.
The true colors of these bras exactly match the pics shown (at least in the case of the white and nude, which is what I bought). They are inexpensive, comfortable, smoothly attractive, and launder easily. What is crazy is the sizing. With every other garment I wear, I am a 3X, and so that is what I ordered, but I couldn't even get these bras over my head! I gave them to my daughter, who wears a 1X, and they fit her perfectly. Now I am ordering some in a 5X --- and I must say I am embarrassed to do so! I predict that women who feel extra-sensitive about their size would never even consider buying themselves a garment two sizes larger than normal. To the manufacturer, I say, "GET REAL!"
One of the reasons I ordered this bra is because it looked like the material was thicker and not see through -- WRONG! You can see the entire nipple area when wearing this. Now I don't plan on wearing this without a top on, but I would be hesitant to wear it with a lighter top.
I also purchased in the hope that it would be soft -- it isn't super soft. Up front, the company didn't advertise it to be "super soft", which is why I gave them 3 stars. For a normal person, this material probably wouldn't bother them, but I have an autoimmune disorder that causes my skin to become SUPER sensitive. I usually have to take my bra off by the afternoon because they start feeling like I am wearing sandpaper.
I feel that they run small -- so be warned. I bought a 46C, but usually wear a 44C, (I like them looser because of my skin condition). If I was to purchase these again, I would go a size higher -- but that is for me. I am just telling it like it is for my situation, which is not run of the mill!
I agree the bra is a real dinger to put on, but the fit was true. I am a 46G; the 4x size fits but the straps slide down my arms. The 3x fits best and the straps pretty much stay in place. At my size, using a bra that doesn't have an opening is bound to be difficult. My husband gets a kick out of helping me put these bras on! It is a challenge to get it on, but taking it off is easy. I wear them at night; my lingerie lady said everyone should wear a bra at night, but I mainly wear it to hold my insulin pump. I like the fabric on this brand; it stretches nicely and is comfortable. I've done one cold-water wash by hand and I don't notice that it has shrunk. For me, it works.
Do not recommend, unless you just want a hair band to cover your boobs. Nipple show through and if you did get it on, it can be comfortable, but it will shrink in wash, so buy a size larger if you can. For me, will not be keeping as I bought 4, they will not hold up to the average wear and tear of daily wearing. Going on vacation, and want a disable bra, this maybe just what you are looking for. I prefer a longer wear love the seamless approach though, this could be a great bra if better material was used.
I had already knew I wasted my money before they even arrived. I ordered a black one and also a white one. Well they blew me await with the comfort!! Just wow all the way around! Now I want one in every color imaginable
This bra is horrible! The material is cheap and itchy! The size is way too small a 3x fits like a medium absolutely ridiculous! Can't return it don't live anywhere near a ups drop off! So no bra and out of 12 dollars!
After reading the issues others had with fit, I went to the JMS website and looked at their sizing chart before ordering. Don't guess. Nonetheless, I ordered it in 2 sizes because I wanted at least one of them to fit. I'm a 46DD. I ordered this item in 3X and 4X though I wear a 1 or 2X blouse size. The 3X size bra fits well. I love this bra. I hate wearing a bra but simply must in public and this gives me an option that is comfortable for running errands, etc. More supportive than a sleep bra, less supportive than a "real" bra, it prevents a certain amount of jiggle and compresses enough to pass if not under too much scrutiny from heavy duty underwire wearing critics ;) The larger size wanted to roll much more than the one that actually fit. If it's too big, you want to pull down on it, and if you pull it too low, it's going to roll. Placing the band at the correct location for support, ie, the ribcage under the bosom reduces rolling about 98 percent for me. It seems a lot cooler than any other bra I've had, and temps here have been about 105 degrees outdoors lately. It is Pure Comfort, as advertised. It is not glamorous nor will it make you look busty or perky and it is not a sports bra... but it will make you forget you are wearing it. Awesome :)
