I ordered a 2X & it's the size of a large at best. I have no fantasies about my size - I'm reliably L to XL, 5'6", 170lbs with most of my weight being in the top. It's also not 100% cotton. Aside from that, seems decently made, is thick & I think would be quite comfortable in the right size.
I'm usually between an XL and a 1X so I thought 1X would be fine - I've ordered products from this brand before so trusted that guess. But they are a little too snug. I"m having to put them on and do some stretching on the sleeves and body to make it not feel tight when I cross my arms. I've already washed them and I can wear them, but they're not fitting as I'd hoped. I'm losing weight little by little so I think they'll fit better soon.
I really like the color and the fabric is nice and thick but my problem is with the sizing. I normally wear an XL but I sized up on this shirt because I wanted it to be a little bigger. It still feels snug even though I sized up, it feels like a L. I recommend this because it seems quality, but I would size up at least twice if you want that looser fit that I was looking for.
I processed a return for this item the day It arrived. I ordered a XL. That’s the size I wear in Old Navy, JC Penny brands, Kohl’s brands, CK at Macy’s etc. The shirt from “just my size” was 2 sizes too small. Now I know why it was so cheap.
