The fabric is quite thick and has a bit of stretch to it, so you can go smaller if you like a more snug fit. Skirt is unlined, but I felt it didn't need it. I really dig the way this looks.
Skirt fit well enough in the waist, I would say it is definitely true to size -- It was a bit shorter than I expected though. The slit itself was perfectly fine, it didn't go up to high or anything, but the longer pieces of the skirt were much shorter than I expected. It only hit about knee-length, while I was hoping it'd go around mid-calf or so. The fabric was also not amazing, it wasn't cheap or poorly made, but it definitely was out of place for a Renaissance festival or Victorian outfit. As a casual every day piece, it works, but it wasn't the best for the purpose I bought it for.

I added 3 rows of lace , on thigh. I also wore Steampunk Tights underneath. Don’t forget to use the lace to complete the look and lace up at waistline .
1.0 out of 5 starsWay too small and not well made!

I usually wear a large or a medium. Ordered an xxl because I saw the reviews and still WAY too small?? Also definitely not well made. Looks way better in the picture than it does in person. Made out of cheap material and poorly put together.
Liked this skirt but where it ties up the meterial behind it could be denser so that it didnt wrinkle and bubble up when I tightened it but thankfully I could wear it lose enough to wear it wasnt that bad
