I bought this in a size 8 for my average-sized 8-year-old daughter and it was too big (same story for my 6-year-old). I could have easily ordered the next size down, but didn't have time before our vacation. We just rolled up the sleeves and hopefully it will still be in good enough shape to wear next year! Other than that, it served its purpose: sun protection without the sunscreen. The material is comfortable, the color hasn't bled or faded, and the picture on the front hasn't peeled off.
