Lost all its elastic and became huge!

I don’t know what we did wrong here, but this rashie completely lost its shape over a month of use (used a few times a week in the pool or playing at a water table). The top is now really baggy. She is just swimming in it - it got so stretched out, it’s crazy. The sleeves are now about 8 inches too long. How is that even possible? We bought this brand for her last summer (12 mo) and didn’t have any issues, so I don’t know what went wrong here. But the rashie is just ridiculous. Our daughter had water safety classes this summer and the instructor actually asked us to stop putting it on her after a week because it was too big and getting in the way of her hands (even when I rolled it up, the sleeves would still drool down) when moving in the water. Yikes.

Bought the hot pink- have washed it 5 times and soaked over and over 10 plus times and TONS of pink dye is still coming out. Your child will be dyed the color of the shirt no matter how many times you rinse and wash it- so it’s going in the trash. Buy the iplay (shorter waist) or leveret brand (longer waist).

I love these rash guards! I bought 3 colors for my daughter and 3 for my son, along with Kanu shorts for each of them. They are such a fun bright neon color - I can spot them anywhere at the lake or pool. The logo peeled off of the front of some of the rash guards. I don’t mind but what a shame for the brand.

Color ran into everything while I was washing it and, after washing it, into my baby's skin. It took me a day to clean her skin. She used it for the first time a few days ago, at home, not even at the beach or swimming pool. What happened to my baby wore is serious. She won't be using it again. I seriously recommend not to buy this product. Should have paid more attention to existing reviews.

Despite the reviews on the dye I ordered this for my daughter. I completely regret doing so. I have washed this so many times separately and this still is dying anything that happens to touch it when wet. I have ruined many of my girls clothes swim suits and swim diapers from this dye. I wish I could exchange for purple.
