Red and Purple are great, beware of PINK!

I bought three of these swim shirts for my three kids, one purple, one pink and one red. The purple and red still look great, however, the pink swim shirt has lost most of it's color and lost it's shape. The elasticity is almost gone and I am really disappointed. The other shirts have held up well and been subject to the same amount of wear and tear, but have really done much better than the pink one.

Girls sizes are too small

I had ordered my son one of these rashguard's a few weeks ago to take on a scout canoe trip. The shirt fitted him really well, in fact I was able to fit into it (I'm about a xs-s in most women's sizes). So I figured I would order myself and my 10yr old daughter one, we chose the girls colors as they were more appealing to us. When we received the shirts my daughter tried to put the large (12) on and she couldn't even get the shirt over her head, and she's small built normally a size 10-12. I looked at the 14/16 shirt that I had bought for myself, and OMG there was no way I was going to fit into that! I held it up to my son's 14/16 shirt (by the same company) and the boys sizing is definitely a lot larger. My daughter has ended up with the 14/16 size, which is a bit long for her but it fits her on the arms, and she can get it over her head!! I have sent the 12 back, and I'll probably go ahead and order myself a boys 14/16.
So please beware, the girls sizes are about 1-2 sizes smaller than what they say will fit.

The shirt is fine but the white designed peeled off immediately after the first wash on delicate an I hung it to dry, and I am very fussy and gentle with my clothes and have an expensive new top loading washing machine, so it wasn't the wash process at fault!

Okay but there are better ones out ther that don't drip colors when they are wet.

This is my second Kanu Surf rash guard, since I sent my first one in for a replacement after it peeled the first time my daughter wore it. The second one lasted less than two swims as well. Very disappointed, it has to go back. The material feels nice and the color is cute, but it looks terrible with the screen print hanging halfway off. What a bummer.

I needed something quick for my daughter's surf lessons. Although I was expecting it to be a little loose, since my daughter is on the petite size, but not this loose. The logo came off after the first wash. I guess she can wear it when she grows into it with partial or no logo :-/
