We bought the uv sun protection swim shirts in orange and hot pink. Not great protection from sun. Somewhat thin. My kids still get a tan under the shirt. One of my kids uses a uv protection shirt that we bought from Rapids water park and THAT is the real thing. He takes his rapids swim shirt off at the end of an 8 hour day @ the water park (or beach, etc) and he's completely white but tanned on his hands (because that's the only part of him still exposed to the sun). Also, the ink from both shirts leaks. So be careful when tossing them in your dirty laundry hamper because you'll stain all your other clothes.
After a dozen trips to the pool this has completely lost its shape, the colors bled out and the stitching is starting to fail. My 3 year old wore this for swim lessons and a couple trips to our own community pool. Within a month it was fading and now after two months its almost useless. The sleeves are all stretched out and the colors are so faded it looks like a pale shade of pink. Total garbage quality.
Bought this for my 3 yr old for swim practice (colder pool). Fits big as expected (bought a size 4). The color is a bright and vivid pink. If you like the graphic design logo you may not want to use this for chlorinated pools. The logo came off after the first time wearing it in the pool. However, the rashguard is holding up well after about 1 month+ use. Would definitely buy again.
The shirt is fine but the white designed peeled off immediately after the first wash on delicate an I hung it to dry, and I am very fussy and gentle with my clothes and have an expensive new top loading washing machine, so it wasn't the wash process at fault!
Great product but like others have said this thing bleeds forever, I've had it for a month or so and have washed it and my daughter has swam it in a bunch and every time it bleeds after she takes it off.
