Poorly made and peeling design after first use

Horribly made. I have bought Kanu swim tops for my kids for years. However, this specific shirt was obviously made badly or is defective. My daughter wore it ONCE and the design started to peel off. She didn’t even wear it in chlorine- just the sprinkler and blow up pool with hose water. We washed on gentle and laid flat to dry. My son has two rash guards in blue and red that were washed the same way and neither of his did this. Only this pink one. Obviously something wasn’t done right in the making of this top. We are past our return window because I bought this early just to make sure we got the color my daughter wanted. She wore it for the first time this last weekend and it is ruined. I am very unhappy with the quality of this. Amazon or Kanu Surf needs to make it right. I won’t be buying other products from them anymore if this is the new quality of what they are selling. A total waste of money.

Logo came off and color bled

Good: Looks great, fits great, and blocks the sun after a couple wears and no machine wash yet.
Bad: The logo fell off during our first wear which would’ve been okay if it didn’t leave a mark where it had been placed. Then, After 2 days of wearing at the pool, I went to wash out in cold water and it bled color so much I was shocked. Stitching on the hem is breaking and it has not been roughly worn.

This was a good shirt for the short notice that I had to purchase one. However, the decal that was on the front completely fell off after I washed it. It was loose when it arrived, but I didn't have time to return it. Luckily, it didn't leave any marks so the shirt is still wearable.

This was an awful purchase. The pink continues to bleed on everything after many many washes and the logo on the front peeled right off after her second time wearing it. Tried to get a refund but it was past the days allowed. It ruined a couple of items in the wash so I deeply regret the purchase. I hate it too because it fit my daughter great and was comfy for her to wear at the beach and pool and keep her protected.

at first I was very pleased with this rashguard. The fit was as expected and seems well made. It provides the expected protection from the sun while on the water...The only problem that I have is when it is wet the color bleeds. My daughter's lifejacket, beach towels and 1 of her swimsuits is stained with pink dye from this shirt. The purpose of this product is to protect while wet....there is no avoiding this problem. I also ordered a blue one for my son which does not bleed at all so I don't know if its just the pink....just this 1 rashguard…????

The graphic/logo peeled off this shirt after the second use. The Kanu shirt I have from last year still has its graphic, so either there’s been a general change in product quality or this one just slipped by quality control.

Great fit, color and size. Provides great protection from the sun in style. I removed one star for how much the pink bleeds onto other laundry when you wash it. At least for the pink, be warned... wash separately or you will have pink all over your clothes.

Fell apart and faded fast

I purchased this rashguard in a different color last year for my daughter and it was great. After a year+ of using it at the beach and in the pool, it's still in very good shape, with the logo just starting to peel off. This year, I purchased a pink one and after just one week of use the stitching started unravelling on the cuffs, it was significantly faded, and the logo was peeling off. Vastly inferior quality than what we purchased a year ago.
